Heavy Duty Connectors consist of 5 parts. 1) Cable Gland 2) Hoods 3) Male or Female inserts 4) Crimp Contacts and 5) Housings. These Rectangular Connectors are available in 12 styles, from the HA series to the HQ series as shown below. The series differ in the number of pin combinations and the power and voltage combinations. Voltage ranges from 50 to 1000 volts and current carrying capacity is from 5A to 100A. Contacts are available as screw terminals, spring terminals or crimp terminals. Heavy Duty Connectors (or Rectangular Connectors) are extensively used in equipment that requires electrical and signal connections, such as construction machinery, textile machinery, package printing machinery, machinery, electrical locomotives and petrochemical electrical equipment. These are internationally recognised standard connectors covered by DIN VDE 0627, DIN VDE 0110, DIN EN 61984 and DIN EN 6198 specifications.

Designed specifically for attaching to the spade terminals on IGBT modules, the connector and cable assembly provided by 2E Syscom are used to connect IGBT power modules to a printed circuit board. Suitable for 2 faston tabs 2.8 x 0.5mm, the connectors are made with integrated automatic locking clips built in. Three grid spacings for faston tabs are available(4.0, 4.7, and 6.0 mm)

The MID Flow Sensor can be used as a differential pressure sensor in bypass as well as in direct operation. It offers a higher accuracy at a lower power consumption (< 10 mW). The Sensor can be used for gas as well as liquids. The maximum volumetric flow in direct operation is for example 20 mlmin for air. With the SMDMID concept a highly integrated and extremely precise sensor can be realised for standard handling of electronic devices. At the same time the flexibility of usage is considerably higher. Initial uses of climateair conditioning units have been successful. Possible applications, among others, are in medicine technology or in the automotive sector.

One of the core competencies of 2E mechatronic GmbH (&) Co.KG is the manufacture of plastic housings with inlaid parts in very high quantities and quality. The plastics used in this process are the most common thermoplastics such as PA, PBT and PPS. Various sensors such as Rotation Rate (ESP®) and side airbag sensors are integrated into these housings. The appropriate circuit boards are pressed in. A soldering process is no longer necessary. Finally the housing is tightly sealed with a lid using a laser welding process. The manufacture of these safety-relevant components with the quality required demands a zero tolerance policy which must be lived throughout the company. A fully automatic production process for the housings is equally necessary as any manual task is prone to error.
