TComp II is the latest version of Albion's temperature compensated gaging systems. It is a unique, small, versatile, user programmable, multi-purpose gaging device or temperature compensation system capable of correcting other electronic gages for thermal errors.

Fireball is a generic term that refers to a connector with built-in electronics that allows Albion's temperature sensors and measurement probes to connect to host computers via USB. Fireball connection is childsplay.

Albion's gages incorporate proprietary Temperature Compensation technology so that all measurements displayed represent true dimension at 20° degrees Centigrade, 68° degrees Fahrenheit, the International Reference temperature for measurements, per ISO Standard # 1.

For high current applications up to 6, 000 amps, capable of providing the triggering and control of one or more high current SCR diodes. In a transformer circuit this controller can be set to provide an adjustable AC or half-wave DC current.

The FireWedge Receiver comes with its own temp probe that plugs into the end of the enclosure. There is an orientation; turn it over if it will not go in. When plugged in, the FireWedge Receiver works with the attached temperature probe. Push the STATUS button and temps will be sent one at a time to your program of choice. In the case of Excel, open a worksheet and then highlight a cell. Numbers will be entered into the selected cell. If Excel is set up to move the cursor after data entry then the next “SEND” command will enter data in the next cell. The “SEND” LED will blink once when the “STATUS” button is pressed.

Albion manufactures a range of temperature sensors for industrial temperature compensation applications. Work piece sensors are of durable construction and feature floating heads. Gage fixture sensors are intended to take the temperature of any fixture, rather than air temperature, that is used in the measuring process, such as a gage frame, since ambient temperature does not necessarily represent the temperature that is affecting the measurment.
