Alpine Material Solutions produces and markets a wide range of both mono-layer and coextruded films and materials. At Alpine we use of the highest quality resins available within the industry. All of our resins are FDA compliant for applications where there may be direct and or incidental food contact. Quality and consistency of extruded films are achieved using prime grades of LDPE, EVOH, LLDPE, Metallocene, ULDPE, MDPE, HDPE, EVA, and other specialty resins. One of the most important qualities that you should expect from your packaging films supplier is consistency. The quality of the film that you received from the very first production run should be matched in all subsequent runs. No matter if it is a week, a month, or even several years later the film you receive today should be identical in both its composition and ultimately its performance to what you got from the original shipment. Adherence of film to a specific tray and the resultant seal integrity requires a solid understanding and expertise in both film and tray. In addition to our deep knowledge of films and materials our customer care personnel also possess years of experience and involvement in custom thermoforming and tray design. This experience allows us to better understand the nuances of each new lidding film project and possibly to suggest ways to improve upon a current process. A thorough understanding of material and film interaction with a particular tray material is the key in providing the right packaging solution each and every time. Alpine’s specialty line of lidding films are ideally suited for virtually all types of trays, tubs and cups. Available in clear, white, metalized and also in retortable form, these films can be sealed to CPET, APET, PP, PS, HIPS, PVC or coated paperboard substrates. Perfect for frozen food, fresh food, dairy products, or even industrial applications. Our lidding films are also available with customized levels of peelability. We provide lidding films that provide Easy Peel, Medium Peel, Hard Peel, or DestructWeld Seals. If your packaging need requires a High Barrier we have films designed for the products that you need to keep safe from harmful bacteria and oxygen to improve shelf-life. Alpine’s Material Solution’s high barrier lidding films are made for use on ready-made trays as well as top-non forming webs on all thermoform-fill-seal (TFFS) lines.

Alpine Material Solutions offers contract filling services for unit dose, single use and sample packaging. We can package your product in four side sealed foil based pouches, in dispenser tip vials and ampules, as well as in packets and sachets in sizes ranging from .25 ML to 90 ML. Our machines are outfitted with custom filling systems that are capable of dispensing liquids and creams as well as other products of various viscosities that can be referred to as semi-liquid. We provide top quality and professionally filled and metered foil pouches and clear or opaque tubes for cosmetics, skin care, hair care, pharmaceuticals, ingestible food products and nutritional supplements. Alpine provides your company with FDA inspected facilities that use only films that are produced from resins and additives which comply with the US Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act for the packaging of foods and pharmaceuticals. We also fill and package more commercial and industrial products such as oils, lubricants, greases, adhesives and sealants, soaps, paints, dyes and other chemicals. No form fill and seal packaging project is too large or too small for the customized services we can offer. At Alpine Material Solutions we are your source for contract filling that utilizes a variety primary flexible packaging formats. Due to our lengthy background as barrier film and multi-layered material specialists we can provide your company with the proper film structure that will most appropriately interact with and house your products. We will help you select the best film that most fully protects the integrity of the product while considering the effects of factors such as oxygen, moisture and possible post packaging sterilization in order achieve extended shelf life of your product. We can provide the film as a printed or an unprinted substrate. Should your project require printed film we have numerous options to offer you. We use high quality and full-color digital, flexographic and rotogravure printing as well as hot stamping to make your packaging have the appeal that your company is in need of. The right sample packaging can make all the difference (strike the word when) in the marketing of and supporting of your brand. If it is your company’s preference to supply the film to us and have us only fill and package we are open going that direction as well. Alpine can also run bottom gusseted standup pouches and custom tooling options are available so that we can utilize die cutting processes on the foil pouch packaging that can shape each pouch to replicate a bottle of the full size package it represents. Our small production volume run only requires a 10, 000 piece minimum. We have no restrictions on large size or a maximum size run requirement. Our specialty production can accommodate small, medium, and high volume runs with lead times of only 28 days, although rush services are also available for projects that require a faster turnaround. We can supply packaging material after we receive your product or you can provide the film when you send us your product in 55 gallon barrels or 5 lb. pails. All packaging is weight tested and meets ASTM D 882-81–Ultimate Elongation and ASTM D 570-77–Water Absorption standards.
