Bearing Bronze Alloys are for general utility bearings and bushings and which are highly resistant to impact, wear and corrosion. Alloys include C93200, C93600, and C93700.

Principal Design Features
Structural Equal Angle (6061-T6) is a structural extrusion with strength approximately equal to that of structural steel. This alloy combines corrosion resistance with high strength making it popular for a wide variety of uses. It has excellent finishing characteristics and will anodize well.

Applications
Used for general structural fabrication purposes. 6061 is commonly used for scaffolding, ship construction, transmission towers, truck trailers, machine parts, braces and bracketing applications.

Machinability
Machinability for 6061-T6 is considered good for this alloy.

Forming
Good.

Welding
6061-T6 is readily weldable using common welding techniques.

Heat Treatment
