The 2M801 High Speed Series of connectors is ideal for use in USB 2.0, eSATA and other high speed databus applications. These connectors utilize PFA (Teflon) inserts that are optimized for high speed capability. Multiple standard insert arrangements are available-up to size 26 and size 23 contacts and beyond. Ideal for applications where space is limited and a high speed interconnect is needed.This series features plugs with or without anti-decoupling mechanisms and a Dual-Start ACME thread that provides full mating in 1 12 turns. Plugs and receptacles are provided in two different shell styles to accommodate the attachment of backshell with rear accessory threads or with integral backshell. The integral backshell allows for use of EMI shielding attachments andor overmolding. Contact termination styles include Crimp, PC Tail and Solder Cup.Custom configurations are also available in the 2M805 Series.

2M Python is a low profile EMIRFI plug and backshell combo. This innovative combination reduces space requirements without compromising on ruggedness or shielding performance. Available in 2M 801 Series, 804 Series, and 805 Series, Python assemblies provide superior low profile cable routing and 2M Micro-miniature connector performance all-in-one.

Available with press-fit or crimp removable contacts, these connectors use machined shells which can be customized for any design to meet a specific applications needs. Termination options include crimp, solder, PC tail, threaded, or custom designed bus bars. Upgraded socket contacts include the Radsok high current sockets and, coming soon, Amphenols exciting new Temper-Grip socket, which carries more current than a standard contact at higher temperatures than a Radsok.
