Custom Clad Metal Wire
To meet specific requirements, Anomet's clad-metal wire can include precious metal cores or claddings such as platinum for oxidation-corrosion resistance and biocompatibility, gold for contact resistance, tantalum for radiopacity under fluoroscopy, and silver or conductivity. Each alloy can be clad to core materials such as copper (Cu) or copper alloys, niobium (Nb), molybdenum (Mo), MP35N and Ni-Co-Cr-Mo Alloys, Nitinol (NiTi) and Nickel-Titanium Alloys, Platinum (Pt) alloys or Platinum-Iridium (Pt-Ir), Silver (Ag), stainless steel (302, 304V, 316LVM, etc.), tantalum (Ta) or tantalum-tungsten (Ta-W) alloys, and titanium (Ti) or Titanium alloys.

The result is a complete metallurgical bond between materials, thus allowing full ductility at all diameters. Bending, shaping, stamping, and other types of forming are all possible with Anomet Nickel Clad Copper.

Suitable for any application where high conductivity rod or wire is needed, Anomet Nickel Clad Copper also resists oxidation at elevated temperatures and has all the corrosion resistance of pure nickel. Available from 0.010" to 1" in a standard 27% nickel ratio with a conductivity of approximately 70% IACS. With our unique processing, other nickel to copper ratios are also available. Custom configurations may also include the use of nickel alloys andor alternate brassbronzesteel based core materials.

Anomet Product's offers a line of titanium clad copper rod and bar products using our unique metallurgically bonding process. Anomet Titanium Clad Copper bus bar utilizes CP Titanium metallurgically bonded to an OFHC (Oxygen-Free High Conductivity) Copper Core.

Anomet Ti Clad Copper has excellent conductivity and is fully ductile for shaping and forming. Ti Clad Copper also has great weldability for connecting, capping and joining. Anomet's custom processing methods allow for a wider variety of Ti to copper ratios. Specifications for typical configurations are illustrated in the table below.
Anomet Ti Clad Copper can be cut to length and packaged to customer requirements. Anomet also offers complete metallurgical services for testing and quality control. Bus Bars are also available in with Aluminum (Al Clad Cu), Zirconium (Zr Clad Cu), and Stainless (SS Clad Cu) cladding.

Clad Moly Wire

Anomets clad molybdenum wires feature excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance in a variety of harsh thermal and corrosive environments. Available in Platinum Clad Moly and Nickel Clad Moly. Anomet's clad moly wire utilizes a unique process which bonds two wrought metals together using no plating or deposition techniques. The results are a product with superior ductility, formability and weldability.

The clad molybdenum wire is an alternative to solid wire and is capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1, 200C depending upon the material and application.
