ARCs complete line of three phase induction motors are manufactured using squirrel cage rotors utilizing both aluminum and copper bars. The three phase induction motor is designed to operate from a three-phase source of alternating voltage. The stator is a classic three phase stator with the winding displaced by 120°. The motor's windings can be connected to a 3-phase AC line in two different ways, where the windings are connected from phases of the supply to the neutral; or delta, where the windings are connected between phases of the supply.
