From kitchens to garages and shops, our stainless steel cabinet knobs and pulls offer the perfect balance of durability and modern design. With two finishes and twelve designs to choose from, our standard stainless drawer knobs are the ideal accessory for any cabinetry project. The standard size knob measures 78 in diameter by 1 in length, each made from an eighth pound of high-grade stainless steel and hand-finished to bring out the beauty of this versatile metal.

Although used for similar applications as round floats, our oblong floats offer another range of options and sizes. Oblong floats are available in multiple wall thicknesses (Gauges) and are available in either 304 or 316L Grade stainless steel. These elongated floats allow the possibility of another shape of float to choose from either for personal preference or out of necessity. Just as our round floats have a wide array of connections, as do our oblong floats.

The selection of our more common oblong floats ranges from our smallest (1 x 2 78) up to our largest (6 x 8). A few examples of the more commonly requested sizes are: 2 x 4, 3 x 5, 3 x 6, 4 x 6, and 6 x 8. These sizes are readily available with minimal lead time. Again, larger diameters and longer lengths are available upon request.

In order to achieve these longer lengths in our oblong floats, we take a cylindrical Body of your desired diameter and length and we weld a shell to on each end of the cylinder to create an elongated oblong float. This process would produce the desired custom dimensions of this oblong float in order to meet your specifications. Of course just like any of our other floats, connections can be attached to one or both ends of the oblong float depending on your intended use.

Arthur Harris stainless steel bar pulls offer the most durable, versatile stainless cabinet hardware on the market today. Available in any length to the nearest 116 up to 96 long, Arthur Harris allows you to purchase the most customized stainless pulls for all of your interior and exterior design needs.

We use 38 diameter stainless bar mounted on two or three standoffs (as we call them) that measure 516 in diameter. Arthur Harris Bar Pulls can be made to custom lengths measured to the nearest 116. Additionally, these cabinet pulls can be totally made-to-order with the option of selecting the bar diameter, length, the standoff length and location position on the bar itself.

Although we offer our bar pulls in custom lengths and diameters, in both high quality type 303 stainless steel or Marine grade type 316 (upon request), listed below is a sample of standard cabinet hardware sizes.

Stainless steel floats are ideal for use under higher pressure and at correspondingly high temperatures in water or corrosive liquids. The high strength of stainless steel provides an extremely versatile and durable float. We offer many diameters and wall thicknesses to suit your needs.

All spherical or oblong floats are built by welding two shells together. The welding process is critical for the strength and durability of the float. Harris has developed a weld that provides a smoothly finished seam, hardly distinguishable from the rest of the float surface. The weld is uniformly strong and ductile.

Harris stainless steel floats have become standard equipment where strength, minimum corrodibility and maximum buoyancy are necessary. Stainless steel floats have high strength at temperatures up to 800(degree sign) F (427 C), while relatively lighter wall thicknesses may be used to produce a strong float with increased buoyancy. The more popular Harris stainless steel floats are constructed from Types 304 or 316 stainless steel; however, other types are available.

The majority of the items we produce are made to specifications. Those specs are typically sent to us in the form of blue prints. We can however quote you on your requirements if we have the following information made available to us:

Size (diameter or shape of float)
Material (304, 316 stainless steel or monel, etc.)
Gauge or material thickness
Connection (thread size and dimensions)

Arthur Harris & Co. offers a multitude of different stainless steel shells to be assembled together in order to manufacture floats. These shells are made to meet your specifications depending on your specific needs. We have listed some of the more common shells offered in this section, but the possibilities dont stop there!

We provide a wide assortment of different shells ranging from 1 up to 14 in diameter depending on your particular end use of the finished float. Another aspect of our shells available for you to select is the wall thickness (or Gauge). The wall thickness (or Gauge) of the shells varies anywhere from our thickest 11 Gauge down to our thinnest 26 Gauge allowing our customers options depending on the specific working requirements of the fully assembled stainless steel float.

The majority of our shells offered are either 304 or 316L Grade stainless steel. Although these are our most commonly utilized materials, we can also offer high nickel alloy or other specialty metal shells upon request.

Along with the shells produced and offered in house, we also encourage customers with unique end uses to contact us directly to offer potential solutions.

Connections, commonly called spuds when used on a float, connect the stainless steel float valve or other device being operated. All of the connections displayed here can be used with any of the float shapes illustrated on this page. In addition, there are connections available other than those shown here. If ordering a commonly used threaded connection, be sure to indicate whether it is a bolt thread or pipe thread.
