The Barr IPDS Converter enables any printer to print IPDS from AFP enabled host systems such as mainframes (zSeries), AS400s (iSeries), and more. It is software which can be installed in a matter of minutes on a Microsoft Windows PC, where it runs as a Windows Service. Like hardware solutions such as embedded cards and conversion boxes, this product leverages your investment in IBM’s AFPIPDS application technology by offering a much wider range of printing choices.

BARRCHANNEL-OUT SDK is a Software Development Kit (SDK) that includes all of the hardware and software that you need to channel-attach S390 devices to a PC. The BARRCHANNEL-OUT SDK includes a sample host emulation device driver and source code to send output to an IBM® 4245 printer. Virtually any S390 device can be attached to the PC with this product.

BARRSYNC for Host Integration Server provides high-speed, full-duplex communications for Microsoft Host Integration Server. The package includes the Barr SYNC PCI adapter, software drivers to work with the Host Integration Server, diagnostics, and online help.

Barr Enterprise Print Server (BEPS) is a Windows-based inputoutput manager designed to receive data from multiple sources and distribute data to multiple destinations. Our print and output manager can help you automate and control your print and document output across your organization. You can customize the print and output manager to connect to IBM mainframes, AS400s, TCPIP hosts, and network applications. In addition, you can select various output modules to connect to high-speed production printers, report distribution systems, and electronic storage systems.
