The 12 volt, 7 amp hour Yuasa NPW36-12 sealed lead acid battery is designed for use in UPS, alarm, and other similar applications.

The replacement battery tray for 1-1.5 kVA Battery Backup Power, Inc. double conversion UPS systems is pre-loaded with 3x 12 volt 9 amp hour batteries. To replace the existing battery tray simply follow the instructions outlined in the video below andor user manual. The old battery tray slides out of the existing Battery Backup UPS and the new tray slides in. The typical life of each battery tray is 3-5 years depending on usage.

The 12 volt, 9 amp hour LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery is designed to be a drop in replacement for standard sealed lead acid batteries in UPS, alarm, and other similar applications. It consists of an internal battery management system board and lithium iron phosphate cells enclosed in standard UPS battery form factor for plug and play use.

The two main advantages of this LiFePO4 battery over the sealed lead acid batteries it is intended to replace are the significant reduction in weight and extreme (4x or more) increase in cycle life.
