HAND MADE IN PHILADELPHIA WITH CLAY MINED FROM THE FRANKFORD CLAY PIT. APPROXIMATELY 1.75" TALL X 2.25" WIDE (INCLUDING HANDLE) APPROXIMATELY 2 oz. SPOON AND SAUCER INCLUDED. Unlike most production pottery, all BDDW ceramics are made from our own locally dug clay. We screen and sift all of our clay by hand. This leads to our wares having more variation than factory-produced ceramics made from off-the-shelf, pre-mixed clay. Some iron-spotting, pin-holing, and crazing may be present. While all of our pieces are high-fire stoneware and durable when cared for properly, they are inherently delicate by design and we recommend hand washing them so they can be passed down for generations.
