A major supplier of solar power framing approached us to manufacture and assemble this U-clamp. Initially, we used progressive stamping to produce this clamp from 0.187" thick high strength, low alloy steel. Knurled pins were coined into the U-clamp stamping. Apart from fabricating the U-clamp, we also pierced longer sections, which were used along with the U-clamps to assemble completed fold down frames. By designing and building the dies in-house, we ensured cost effectiveness and met custom specifications. A galvanized material finish was provided to this metal clamp.
Bennett Machine & Stamping Company produced these carbon steel cans for a bearing manufacturer in Ohio. The inner and outer cans were used to cast bronze bearing blanks. We used hydraulic cushion presses to produce the deep drawn carbon steel stampings. Stamping dies for this job were designed and built in house. Two successive deep draw stamping operations including piercing and trimming were performed on 0.090" thick carbon steel sheets. After stamping, the can had a deep draw depth of 6-12". Finally, we packaged the custom sheet metal stampings in returnable containers and shipped them to the specified location.
A major automotive supplier required hex nut caps for automotive fastening applications. We manufactured the nut caps from 0.018" thick stainless steel sheets through deep draw stamping. Deep draw tooling for the 1" (height) x 1" (width) hex nut caps were designed and built to exact customer specifications. In addition to this standard configuration, we also manufactured several versions of the hex nut caps for the automotive supplier. Our deep drawing process eliminated the need for secondary material finishing operations. Bennett Machine & Stamping Company packaged and delivered the stamped metal parts in bulk cartons to the customer's location in Europe.
Bennett Machine & Stamping Company manufactured these stamped metal brackets for a major elevator door manufacturer. The customer used to manually tap 8 14 - 20 holes into these sheaves. We analyzed the elevator door manufacturer's need and integrated in-die tapping operations in our precision stamping processes to reduce the overall cost of manufacturing the metal brackets. Our experienced team designed and manufactured progressive stamping tooling for this sheet metal fabrication project. The 0.22" bracket was stamped from hot rolled, pickled, and oiled sheet metal. Through JIT programs, we ensured prompt delivery of the stamped metal brackets.
We manufactured these Axilok retainers for a customer in the trucking industry. To minimize secondary processing operations, Bennett Machine & Stamping Company produced the retainers through progressive tooling and piercing. After finalizing the production process, our expert team stamped the custom parts from 0.076" thick carbon steel sheets. The 4.80" wide retainers were precision stamped to exact customer specifications. We fabricated a variety of stamped retainers in custom configurations for this customer. These custom stamped retainers were packaged and delivered to the customer's location in Illinois.
At our ISO certified precision metal stamping facility, we manufactured these deep drawn back cup assemblies for a truck manufacturing customer in Texas. Stamping diestooling for the project were designed and fabricated in house. Nitrogen gas springs used in the tooling provided high holding forces through the entire stroke length. Hot rolled, pickled, and oiled material was used to stamp the back cup assembly. As a special feature, we manufactured these deep drawn metal assemblies with brazed fittings. Finally, the deep drawn back cup assemblies were zinc plated.
