With their low cost and versatility these destroyers are perfect for both government and commercial markets where tight budgets are an important consideration. FAST - COMPACT - POWERFUL - LIGHT WEIGHT - PORTABLE - VERSATILE These small heavy-duty destroyers are maintenance free. No messy fluids or external components to deal with and no adjustments or calibrations necessary. The MHDD-N Manually Operated Destroyer is NSACSS Approved and is extremely operator friendly. The user need only insert the hard drive into the slot, close the safety door and turn the easy to turn handle 8 rotations. The destroyer also pushes the hard drive out for easy removal. This simple operation takes approximately 8 seconds or less. The MX2-N Motor Operated Destroyer with Manual Feature is NSACSS Approved and enables the user to operate the unit hands free. Inserting the hard drive and closing the safety door automatically starts the destruction process, allowing destruction every 10 seconds (12 seconds for 50 Hz units). If power is interrupted the operator has the manual operated handle to continue. No interruption or setup. Simply grasp the handle and continue the operation manually. A feature none of the competition can claim. The MX2-N with Universal Power Option gives the user additional versatility in all environments and operates in three power modes: Battery Power, AC Wall Power, or Manual. The battery holds a charge sufficient to destroy more than 100+ hard drives (double that with the optional battery pack).

The Proton T-4 produces a bi-directional field which provides 20, 000 Gauss positive field and a 20, 000 Gauss Negative field. The T-4 achieves this by using a unique, patented "Reverse Polarity". Other degaussers may have either a positive or a negative pulse, but only one. The T-4 has both and it is fully automatic. This ensures complete and permanent erasure of your data and will protect your sensitive information for years to come. The T-4 now has a LCD screen and internal Gaussmeter for performance verification. Features Listed on the National Security Agency's (NSA) Evaluated Products List (NSA EPL-Degausser) and complies with DoD requirements for destroying classified information on magnetic media. Internal software requires all parameters (capacitor voltage, switch, etc.) are present prior to the "Go" LED display. If any problem exists that will compromise degaussing, the "Go" LED will not display. This software guarantees that each degauss cycle delivers sufficient strength and consistent performance.
