Bruce Aerospace LED cabin lighting systems employ the latest High Brightness (H.B.) LED technology, providing high level light output which equals or exceeds the light output levels of OEM fluorescent lighting systems. High quality H.B. LED technology provides several distinct advantages over lower output, plastic encapsulated LED-based lighting systems: • Extremely long usable lifespan • A minimum of 60, 000 hours of usage with no color shift or light output degradation • Close color matching • High thermal efficiency • High output levels • Bruce LED cabin lighting systems are FAA approved for use in the charging of Photo Luminescent Floor Proximity Emergency Escape Path Marker Systems (PL FPEEPM) Bruce Aerospace LED cabin lighting systems are offered in monochrome white or bi-color versions. Bi-color LED lighting provides a mood lighting capability without the need of an additional lighting control system. When the cabin lighting is switched to the dim mode of operation the bi-color lighting system transitions to an alternative color. The customer can select from three color temperatures for the primary white lighting presentation (warm white, neutral white, or cool white) and a wide variety of color choices for the secondary lighting channel on bi-color systems including, royal blue, cyan blue, and amber. Bi-color systems can also employ a mixed array of cool white and warm white LED emitters, providing a tunable white temperature lighting system. • B767-300 new LED lighting system; simultaneous issuance of FAA and Transport Canada STCs • QANTAS B747-400ER* and B747-400 Classic aircraft* • Condor B757-300 –White • Lufthansa B737-300 & -500 fleet (White Sidewall) • Air Transat A330: Full Mood Lighting Systems. • Germania B737-700 White & Bi-colour** • Certified to FAA-STC* • Certified to FAA-STC with EASA Validation**
Bruce Aerospace Mood Lighting systems employ the latest High Brightness (H.B.) LED technology, providing high level light output which equals or exceeds the light output levels of OEM fluorescent lighting systems. High quality H.B. LED technology has several advantages over lower output, plastic encapsulated LED-based lighting systems:• Extremely long usable lifespan • A minimum of 60, 000 hours of usage with no color shift or light output degradation • Close color matching • High thermal efficiency • High output and maximum color saturation • Colored light presentations are not washed out by ambient light during daytime operation • Mood Lighting luminaires mount to OEM fluorescent ceiling and sidewall luminaire attachment points • Fit with the envelope of the OEM fluorescent luminaires • Use existing AC power distribution • Use the same power connectors as the OEM luminaires
Bruce Aerospace’s offers “PEEPLS™” Floor Mounted Emergency Escape Path Marking Systems and “Pathfinder™” Seat Mounted Emergency Escape Path Marking Systems in both LED and incandescent versions. We have been designing, certifying and manufacturing these systems with great success since 1986 and hold 28 STC’s on different aircraft models. systems consist of Battery Power Supplies, these are 6V power supplies that maintain their charge with a 350mA trickle charge from the existing 28V power (utilizing the existing aircraft power supplies is generally a viable option). Power harness assemblies for connection directly into the power supplies, side wall wiring to comply with the 25% rule for transverse vertical separation and to break out into the cabin. Connection to the wire harness assemblies installed in the track on the floor or into the seat to seat cables and in-seat wire harness assemblies. The Track consists of a floor track that is mounted directly to the floor with a sticky back that is then secured into place with both sides covered with carpet. The top track which can be any color desired and is snapped into place on the floor track covering the wire harness assembly lamp holders lampsLED’s and light modules – the light modules are hard resilient plastic that is available in translucent white, red or with arrows. Light fixture assemblies for mounting into the seats are available in round and oblong shapes and in translucent white, red or with red arrows. Exit identifier signs are available in LED or incandescent versions, there are currently over 540 different language and termination options available. Also included are under the carpet wire runs and any conduit harness assemblies that may be required.
Bruce Aerospace manufactures a large variety of LED FAA approved (FAR 25.812) exit signs in many shapes and sizes. There are sign styles which are appropriate for ceiling mount applications, fore and aft bulkhead mountings or above doors. All of these LED signs operate from 6 Vdc emergency power sources. Bruce Aerospace does have custom graphics design and silk-screening capability. FAA approved multi-lingual legends can be designed for all of our signs. • New LED signage for CRJ 700900 and Dash 8 aircraft • New LED information signs for B757, B767 and MD80 aircraft Bruce Aerospace also offers 6 and 28 volt LED signage to be fitted onto class dividers, passenger service units and lavatories.
