Sanitary processing plants require daily if not hourly wash down of processing equipment. Stainless steel trench drains have become a necessity to channel away unwanted surface water from processing plant floors. Commonly produced from 12 Gauge (.105) mill finish type 304 stainless steel, our drains are custom engineered for your specific application and length. Typical designs include a more open profile that would require your choice of steel, stainless steel, cast iron, or fiberglass top inserted grating as shown in our detail "A". Or an alternate slot drain design that when installed in your concrete floor only shows a 1" wide flanged slot as shown in our detail "B". Other drain components that we fabricate and supply on a regular basis include spot area drains, collection boxes, strainer baskets, and floor sinks. Outlets would typically be from schedule 10 or schedule 40 stainless steel pipe.
New projects can be downloaded from your supplied DWG, or DXF files, or can be drawn in these formats from scratch by C. P. Eakes in house design department. These CAD drawings would then be converted into CNC programs for cutting using our Cincinnati programming and nesting software. Projects are optimized for the most effective cutting, and customer's cost savings. Our laser cutting capacities are as follows: Effectively cutting mild carbon steel up to 12" in thickness Effectively cutting stainless steel up to 14" in thickness Effectively cutting aluminum up to 14" in thickness Ability to laser cut other metals such as galvanized and brass Ability to laser hole diameters equal to the metal thickness being cut or larger Ability to laser etch part numbers or text Ability to convert parts from supplied flat layouts in DWG or DXF CAD formats Ability to nest same or different parts of same metal thickness for optimized cutting State of the art CNC programming with our Cincinnati programming nesting software
We have the capability to clad your parts with our inventory of stainless steel and brass. We also frequently send our customers formed cladding material for them to apply to their base material themselves. All we need is a drawing or sketch of your base material, and we will form your cladding so it fits snugly. We stock stainless steel and brass in #4 satin and #8 mirror finishes, and we also stock aluminum in clear anodized and painted finishes. Our cladding will fit your specific application - covering a door rail, wrapping a column, or trimming out your kitchen.
