Elastomeric Diaphragms are flexible membranes used in an enclosure that allow the pressure effects of the gas or liquid to be transferred from one side of the elastomeric diaphragm to the other. Elastomeric diaphragms are often used in pressure transducers or hydraulicpneumatic systems such as pumps and flow meters.

Grommets are often used to protect wires or cables passing through panels, especially sheet metal and provide a dust or moisture seal. Strain Reliefs serve many of the same functions as grommets but also reduce wire breakage from excessive bending by providing support over a longer length of the wire.

Rubber parts can be molded with textures for cosmetic purposes or to provide a non-slip surface. Textures range from a matte finish to more aggressive pebbled finishes. Rubber parts can be molded with Part Numbers, Customer Names or Logos. They can be either debossed or embossed.

Rubber Boots and Rubber Bellows are used in joy stick, articulating joints and expansion compression applications. Boot and Bellows are primarily used to protect internal components from pinch points and environmental intrusion and are often used in the joystick or shock absorber industries.

Duck Bill Valves and Umbrella Valves have very similar functions. Duck Bill Valves and Umbrella Valves are one way check valves that open and close at low pressure. Duck Bill valves are often placed at the end of an orifice. As pressure is applied, the end that looks like a Duck Bill opens, allowing for the media to pass through. When the pressure is reduced, or stopped, The Duck Bill portion closes, thereby stopping the flow.

Elastomeric Connector Insulators are found in Electrical Connectors and are used to protect and isolate electrical current between adjacent connector pins or connector sockets. Silicone and Fluorosilicone are commonly used materials due to their inherent insulation properties.
