Pet Coke Specs – Dry Basis: • Total Moisture 8% as received basis • Ash 1% on a received basis • Fixed Carbon 85 to 89 • Volatile Matter 8% as received • Sulphur 4% - 6% max as received basis • Gross Calorific 8200 KcalKg as received basis • Value size ROC Pet Coke Procedures (once spec and final price agreed): • Both buyer and seller agree on the draft contract. • Buyer issues a letter or email from their bank stating that they are ready (RWA) to issue an SBLC for $xx amount (price x quantity for 1st month) subject to seeing POP. • Seller shows the bank letter to the refinery and they issue the POP. • Buyer issues the SBLC. The verbiage will state that the SBLC will be returned uncashed unless the buyer fails to pay as per agreed contract. Upon the receiving banks confirmation of the MT760 the Title of the stock will pass from the refinery to Seller to the Buyer on the same day. • The stock is shipped. • Buyer pays for the stock at either the loading or no later than 5 - days after sailing (at sight of docs)
