Capacities 13 thru 55 metric tons o Forged – Quenched and Tempered, with alloy pins. Working Load Limit permanently shown on every shackle Hot Dip galvanized or Self Colored. Fatigue rated. Shackles 25t and larger are RFID EQUIPPED. Shackles can be furnished proof tested. With certificates to designated standards, such as ABS, DNV, Lloyds, or other certification. Charges for proof testing and certification available when requested at the time of order. Shackles are QuenchedTempered and can meet DNV impact requirements of 42 joules at -20 C. Crosby products meet or exceed all requirements of ASME B30.26 including identification, ductility, design factor, proof load and temperature requirements. Importantly, Crosby products meet other critical performance requirements including fatigue life, impact properties and material traceability, not addressed by ASME 830.26. Look for the Red Pin® … the mark of genuine Crosby quality.

Each base has a Product Identification Code (PIC) for material traceability, the name CROSBY or CG, and a size forged into it. Based on the catalog breaking strength of wire rope, Crosby wire rope clips have an efficiency rating of 80% for 18” – 78” sizes, and 90% for sizes 1” through 3-12”. Entire Clip is Galvanized to resist corrosive and rusting action. Sizes 18” through 2-12” and 3” have forged bases. All Clips are individually bagged or tagged with proper application instructions and warning information. Clip sizes up through 1-12” have rolled threads. Meets or exceeds all requirements of ASME B30.26 including identification, ductility, design factor, proof load and temperature requirements. Importantly, these wire rope clips meet other critical performance requirements including fatigue life, impact properties and material traceability, not addressed by ASME B30.26.
