TP Router

You can also order an Module version of this product here.

The Cimetrics B6000 is a BACnetIP to BACnetMSTP Router. It helps route communications between BACnetIP and BACnetMSTP local area networks. This allows BACnetIP devices to communicate with BACnet devices on a BACnetMSTP network. The Ethernet connection conforms to the BACnetIP standard which is complemented by many network friendly features such as DHCP and password protected browser based setup screens. This device requires no mapping because ALL data on the one side (for example, the BACnetIP side) is transparently passed to the other side (BACnet MSTP) and vice versa. Configuration is easy and the hardware has been designed to professional electrical standards.

The B6000 has termination jumpers on the inside of the unit to provide for flexible bias and termination settings.

U+4 USB To BACnet MS/TP Interface

vhe U+4 device helps connect a computer or laptop to a BACnet MSTP network. This helps applications like BACnet clients ( e.g.Cimetrics BACnet Explorer) and diagnostic programs (e.g.Cimetrics BAS-o-matic) access the BACnetMSTP network. The USB port on the U+4 connects to the PC.
The U+4 has a microprocessor that handles all the time critical functionality on the MSTP network and passes only the "Time stamped" data to the PC. This helps prevent packet loss.

The U+4, once installed, mimics an Ethernet card. The user can choose this newly installed "Ethernet card" for communications with a BACnet MSTP network.

BACnet Broadcast Management Device

Acts as a stand alone BACnet Broadcast Management Device. Can be black or silver color

A BBMD relays BACnetIP broadcast messages within a BACnetIP network that spans multiple IP subnets.

Does what it is supposed to do. easy web-based setup and great compatibility.

Customers say."Cimetrics integration products helped us get our BACnet system working."

Manage the flow of BACnetIP broadcast messages within a BACnetIP network that spans multiple IP subnets

The BBMD directly forwards a BACnet broadcast message initiated by a BACnetIP device on its subnet to the other subnets with BACnetIP devices. Upon arrival at a destination subnet, the message is then broadcast on that subnet.

B3060 supports up to 255 BBMDs.

The BACnet BBMD device is optimized for high bandwidth usage due to its 32-bit embedded Linux-based OS and our BACstac32 protocol stack. This BACnet software is extremely robust and is the leading third party BACnet code used in thousands of devices from prominent industry manufacturers.

The B3060 is enclosed in a metal case that can be mounted standalone, in a 1U rack shelf or on a DIN rail.

The Ethernet port uses a standard shielded RJ45 connector with integral LEDs. Connection status can quickly be ascertained from the Link and Activity LEDs on each interface.

An embedded web server allows for commissioning and configuration and troubleshooting via a standard web browser. A power LED is present along with the LEDs for interface status on each interface.

BACnet/IP To Web Services Gateway/Firewall (high Capacity)

The BACnetIP to Web Services Gateway enables innovative applications to come together with existing Building Automation systems so you can offer solutions which save money and improve building comfort. B6085 allows integration of BACnetIP devices in Enterprise Applications systems using a REST-style web services architecture. The device uses Cimetrics' BACrest API (Application Program Interface). It is a specification that lets you read and write data to device-centric networks using URL-like commands.

The meaning of the word BACrest is Building Automation Control Relational State Transfer. The "REST" part of this name is a well known IT terminology used to describe the architecture used to create the Internet "URL system". We have created a version of "REST" that applies to the needs of device-centric networks.

The Web Services connection conforms to XMLSOAP and WSDL standards which are supported by almost all Enterprise software vendors. This allows an easy method of controlling and monitoring BACnet devices without needing to know anything about the BACnet protocol.

The BACnetIP connection conforms to the BACnet 2004 standard and is a 3rd generation protocol stack created by the Cimetrics development team. Mapping between the BACnetIP network and the Web Services calls is done using password protected browser setup screens. Since two isolated Ethernet ports are used, this device also acts as a firewall, meaning that no unintended communications or control is possible between the two networks.

BACnet/IP To ARCNET Router

The BR2-A - BACnet router provides routing between BACnetIP, and BACnet ARCNETnetworks. This allows integrators to mix and match these two BACnet network datalink technologies within a single BACnet Internetwork.

The BR2 Router is enclosed in a metal case that can be mounted standalone or in a 1U rack space. The unit has one ARCNET connector and one Ethernet 10100 RJ45 connector.

The ARCNET connector is an industry standard BNC connectore for 93 Ohm (RG62) cable. It operates at the standard 2.5 Mbps and by default uses normal timeouts though it can be set for one of the three available ARCNET extended timeouts settings used in long cable run segments. Logically and physically 254 devices can be addressed. The ARCNET is not terminated internally to give the user flexibility in connections and topologies used.
