The DANIS is a short range observation day and night camera system for security applications. The DANIS was specially designed for short ranges up to 1000 meters. The DANIS consists of a remote controlled Pan and Tilt (P&T) gimbal enabling Line of Sight control in elevation and azimuth. The DANIS Pan and Tilt (P&T) system consists of two cameras: Thermal Imaging (TI) Uncooled IR camera with a unique Optical Zoom Lens to enable the operator to zoom-in and zoom-out and to choose the best FOV for the requirement. Daytime color CCD TV camera with a powerful Continuous Zoom Lens. The two cameras move together so that the operator may switch between the cameras when both of them are looking at the same object. The DANIS is operated by using PC SW and is easy to integrate with a C4 system.

CONTROP's Antenna Pedestals are developed and manufactured in-house, providing an excellent solution for directional communication antennas installed on Airborne, Maritime or Land platforms. CONTROP's Antenna Pedestals are in daily operational use onboard UAVs, providing directional data links for the relay of data, information and other applications. CONTROP's Directional Antenna Pedestals incorporate: Single or dual axis pointing. Precision DC servo mechanical drive assembly for high direction accuracy. Pointed capability according to external commands through RS-422 communication. Compact, lightweight and using minimal power consumption. The HRN-1 is an airborne data link directional antenna pedestal. The HRN-2 is an airborne dual data link directional antenna pedestal. The APU-1 is an antenna positioning unit.

The HRN-1 Airborne Data Link Directional Antenna Pedestal is a lightweight communication antenna pedestal, designed to provide single axis pointing capability in a very compact package. The HRN-1 Pedestal contains a precision DC servo mechanical drive assembly, RF components and an integral digital servo electronic circuit card. The antenna can be pointed to any azimuth angle according to external position commands received through an RS-422 serial communication channel. The HRN-1 Pedestal is designed to withstand rough airborne environmental conditions (when mounted within a protective radome).The HRN-1 is compact, lightweight and has minimal power consumption. The HRN-1 is in daily use in several UAV applications.
