Dengue virus real-time RT-PCR assay (Research Use Only) for the in vitro detection and typing of dengue virus serotypes 1, 2, 3 and 4 to determine dengue virus serotypes variants. Dengue virus real time RT-PCR kit is a one-step, single tube, rapid, and multiplex real time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction for simultaneous detection and typing of dengue virus using serotype specific primers. The test is based on real-time RT-PCR technology, utilizing reverse-transcriptase (RT) reaction to convert RNA into complementary DNA (cDNA), polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for the amplification of specific target sequences and target specific probes for the detection of the amplified DNA.
