We at Cuyahoga Machine and Hydraulic have a combined experience of over sixty years repairing cylinders. Our fully equipped machine shop enables us to repair air and hydraulic cylinder to industry standards, as well as, take care of any unexpected problems encountered. The ability to machine parts in house allows us to provide quick and timely repairs for our customers. We use only the finest materials for repairs. The customer has the option of repairing the cylinder with oem seals or secondary manufactures.

Cost of repairing a cylinder is significantly lower than replacing it with a new one. Call or e-mail us to get a rough estimate of what the charges might be for your particular cylinder. Model number, size, stroke are required information. Over the phone estimates are general. The only way to get an accurate estimate is to tear down the cylinder and inspect it.

Most cylinders require some sort of pin to connect it to another part of the machine. Over time these pins will wear, bend, or break. At Cuyahoga Machine and Hydraulic, we make any pin that you may need. Pins can be made of any material specified or requested by the customer whether it be 1045, 4140, chrome rod, or any specialty steel. Also heat treatment and surface treating is available if needed. All pins manufactured by us will have all grease holes, fittings, keepers and bolt holes per sample or print and we also can provide hardened bushings to match them.

Through our many years of experience of repairing cylinders, we found it usually entails repairs of other parts of construction equipment. To better serve our customers we have the ability to repair these worn, broken, or bent parts along with cylinder repair. We also supply pins and hardened bushing for parts that we repair. We are equipped to handle all your heavy equipment needs.

The need to be able to machine specialty parts to repair cylinders has caused our machining department to grow and become versatile. This in turn has helped us provide another service to our customers. As we have added machines and more experienced machinist, we've become a fully equipped machine shop. One of the most basic designs of a machine is the hole. Holes have many uses. They hold bearings, connect parts together, or they may be pivot points for rotating parts. At some point these holes can become worn or damaged. At Cuyahoga machine and Hydraulic we repair holes, or as they commonly known as, bores. The holes in question can be welded and re-bored, or bored and bushed, depending on the application of the hole. Either way your hole will be brought back to it's original tolerances and get you back up and running.
