Filter Cartridges larger image Filter cartridges are the perfect choice for many industrial filtration requirements. Our pleated filter cartridges contain premium phenolic impregnated cellulosic filter media providing long service life, high flow rates and low pressure drops. Pleated cartridges are available in a range of micron pore sizes (0.5 to 30), outside diameters and lengths. Wound filter cartridges are suitable for lower flow rates and can filter many different fluids, air or gas efficiently depending on the cartridge material. Wound cartridges are available in eight different materials as well as a range of micron sizes (0.5 to 150), outside diameters and lengths. Cyclotron Products offers a full line of rolled filter media and also carries media specifically for oil. Three standard roll widths are always available, 20”, 27” and 40”, ranging from 5 to 80 microns. Custom cut to meet your specified dimension is available upon request. Core of 3” with reducer plug accommodates 1” round bar. No minimum quantities required for purchase.

Filter bags serve as the filtering media in filter bag housings for liquids. Our polypropylene bags with sewn seams and molded handles offer high flow rates with low pressure drops for excellent performance in most fluids. Single and multi-bag filter housings are available in several different piping arrangements and materials to meet your application needs. All of our filter bags are nominal rated meaning they will remove down to the specified micron size, but have no percentage of efficiency. It may be necessary to order bags with finer micron filtration to give the desired cleanliness of the fluid. Absolute rated bags give 90% efficiency with the specified micron size. Hydrocyclones are used to separate solids from water soluble coolants using centrifugal force. No disposable filter media is required in the cyclonic separation process making our hydrocyclones economical, efficient and environmentally responsible. Two sizes are available: Large, full ceramic cone has capacity of 20 gallons per minute and can be manifolded together to achieve up to 240 GPM. Separation of 7 to 10 microns in steel at approximately 95% efficiency can be achieved. Filtration achieved is dependent upon specific gravity of the material. Small, plastic cone with either ceramic or plastic lower nozzle has capacity of 5 gallons per minute and also can be manifolded together to provide higher GPM capacity. Separation of 5 microns in steel at approximately 95% efficiency can be achieved.

Cyclotron Products line of underflow conveyors is designed to aid in the recycling of grinding swarf removed by hydrocyclone filters. Conveyors are free standing and totally enclosed, taking the place of a swarf cart. Units are fully automatic equipped with timers to control the cycle of the drive motor so that swarf is discharged in a relatively dry state.
