The DCM Tech HB 3810 head and block resurfacing machine features hand scraped ways, dovetail column, heavy cast iron base, and an industrial grade milling spindle which is the “foundation of precision” for this premium quality mill. DCM Tech manufactured spindle motor assemblies are fitted with high precision angular contact bearings and are supported in precisely machined cast iron housings. Additionally, the rotors are balanced, assuring long life and smooth performance. Table traverse is driven by a precision ballscrew for smooth consistent movement. A CBNPCD milling head is standard equipment, and rapid mount head and block fixtures are all available. The Punch and Die Grinder (PDG), a Rotary Table Surface Grinder, is primarily dedicated to the sharpening of turret press tooling, but also includes the sharpening of rooftop punches and small progressive die details. DCM Tech’s Punch and Die Grinder is a turnkey package with autofeed control, self dressing CBN abrasives, through spindle coolant and universal fixturing that accepts Amada, Trumpf, Salvagnini, Finnpower, Weideman, Whitney, and other style tooling. Sharpen large station dies and rooftopshear angle tooling up to 10 degrees with the standard fixturing package. Typical grind time is less than 5 minutes
An exceptional machine from our line of rotary surface grinders. The IG280SD is designed with glass, ceramic, carbide and crystal fabrication in mind. It can be used in any low, mid or high volume applications. The programmable control saves grind parameters by part number for repeatable process automation. The servo driven Z-axis delivers true feed rates and repeatable positioning. An electromagnetic rotary chuck with electronic sensed demag is standard while optional configurations may include mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic or hydraulic work-piece fixturing.
The IG 380SD provides the greatest capacity of all of the DCM grinders, it features a 36” diameter electromagnetic chuck with configuration features of through table vacuum, air or hydraulic clamping. The variable speed 30 HP grinding spindle provides exceptional grinding performance for both conventional and superabrasives. The IG 380SD is configured with a sliding door enclosure, airmist filtration and swarf system with continuous filtering of the coolant. Clean coolant results in repeatable grinding performance. The automated grinding control simplifies machine operation and ensures consistent grinding results.
The MINI Punch and Die Grinder (rotary table surface grinder) is an ideal addition to turret and punch press cells for in-cell tooling maintenance with 110V or 220V 1-phase power service. Re-grinding of punches and dies by the cell operator is simple, quick, and easy. The MINI uses vertical spindle rotary table grinding action, coupled with a CBN superabrasive grinding wheel to sharpen tools to “as new” condition and performance. It is sold as a complete package with manual feed control, coolant system, self dressing CBN grinding wheel and a universal fixture that accepts Amada, Trumpf, Strippit, Finnpower, Weideman, Whitney, and other style punches and dies. An optional angle fixture is available for rooftop and shear angle type tooling. An optional center mount magnetic chuck, and a variety of abrasive options are also available for alternate applications.
