NATIVE POTATO STARCH IS MADE THROUGH AN EXTENSIVE PROCESS OF WASHING AND THEN SEPARATING THE STARCH, PRESENT IN POTATO CELL WALLS, SO THAT IT CAN BE MADE INTO POWDERED FORM. Potato starch is used in cooking because potato starch is considered to be a very well accepted thickener for food. Native potato starch has a high heat point so it is suitable for foods that require high temperatures. Another benefit to potato starch is , especially as compared to wheat starch as a thickener, that the product is gluten free. This means potato starch as food thickener gives excellent results for achieving product without gluten. Potato starch used when thickening sauces helps the sauces remain translucent.

POTATO GRANULES ARE MADE FROM SELECTED VARIETIES OF RAW POTATOES BEST SUITED FOR DEHYDRATION PROCESSING AND GROWN UNDER CAREFUL SUPERVISION. To ensure high quality of the final product raw potatoes are stored in a fully automated storage facility. Before processing mature raw potatoes are washed, peeled, trimmed and thoroughly cooked before entering a multi-stage drying and screening process. Potato Granules are “air-dried” processed. This process is designed to produce a dense, free flowing potato powder which rehydrates very easily, without cooking, when added to boiling water. Potato Granules can be blended with ingredients such as milk, salt, flavourings or vitamin C. Potato Granules can be supplied in smaller food service packs, in bags of 25 kg, in 1000 kg big bags or as blended product packed in small retail packaging.The shelf life of the product is 12 months and the product can be stored in cool, dry area.
POTATO FLAKES ARE MADE FROM SELECTED VARIETIES OF RAW POTATOES BEST SUITED FOR DEHYDRATION PROCESSING AND GROWN UNDER CAREFUL SUPERVISION. This process is designed to produce potato flake which rehydrates very easily without cooking when added warm water. Potato Flakes are suitable to be delivered in 5 and 10 kg food-service-packs, in 12, 5 and 25 kg packaging for wholesale and in big bags or silo delivery for industrial usage. The shelf life of the products is 12 months and the product can be stored in cool, dry area.
