Founded in 1982, Dynamic Precision Tool & Manufacturing has built a strong tradition of precision machining and grinding to tight tolerances with quick turnaround times. Our Inside Diameter (ID) and Outside Diameter (OD) grinding perfectly exemplifies this, with our advanced machinery capable of internal, external, plunge, radius, form, and precision grinding. Utilizing our TRU TECH CNC (8" X 20") OD GRINDER we are able to grind a variety of traditional and exotic materials, including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass bronze, copper, carbide, Inconel, Hastelloy, and Monel, among many others. We IDOD grind parts up to 8" in diameter, up to 20" in length, with surface finishes of 8 µin and to tightest tolerances of ±.0001". Because quality is important to us, we utilize a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and various precision inspection tools and systems, including surface plates, bore ages, air gage, height gage, profilometer, and height optical comparators, as well as testing for hardness, and surface roughness. We also provide design services and precision gages for our clientele. Our facility specializes in short lead times, with rush services available. Typical turnaround times are from one week to one day, depending on job requirements. Dynamic Precision Tool & Manufacturing has been providing high level machining and grinding for our clients out of our facility in Troy, Michigan since 1982. When it comes to surface grinding, Dynamic Precision is a trusted resource to provide precision grinding services of very high quality. Our facility has CNC controlled and manual grinders for flat, form, radius, and precision surface grinding of a variety of parts. Some of these include special machine parts, gages, die details to aerospace parts. We grind a variety of standard and exotic metals including brass, bronze, steel, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, nickel alloys, carbide, nitronic 60, Inconel, Hastelloy, and Monel. Our equipment grinds parts up to 40” long and 20” wide, with a surface finish to 8 µin. We surface-grind our products to exact precision, with parallelism, flatness, perpendicularitysquareness, and tolerance all ground to within ± .0001”. At Dynamic Precision Tool & Manufacturing, we've been in business at our Troy, Michigan facility for over 30 years, providing a wide variety of high quality machining, grinding and wire EDM operations all under one roof. Exemplifying this proud tradition is our precision CNC machining capabilities. This service utilizes state-of-the-art CNC Hurco and Fadal Machining Centers. CNC Mazak Turning Centers featuring our MAZAK INEGREX 100-SY CNC TURNINGMACHINING CENTER and our MIYANO BNA-42MSY 7-CUTTING AXES CNC SUPER TURNING CENTER , all with CNC control and bar feeding capabilities. These advanced machining systems allow us to provide machining processes such as milling, boring, turning, threading, tapping, thread milling, knurling, profiling, reaming, facing, and many others. Components can be milled in lengths up to 60”, widths up to 30”, and heights up to 30”. Turning can be provided for parts up to 28” in diameter and 48” long, and bar feed up to 12’ long and 3” in diameter, all too tight tolerances of .0005”. These processes are performed on 4-axis machinery for milling, 5-axis for turning, utilizing live tooling, with all fixturing and tooling provided in-house. We also work with a wide variety of metals, exotic metals, and plastic polymers, such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, Inconel, Hastelloy, nylon, Delrin, ABS, and acrylic, just to name a few.
