ECKA copper powders AK are produced by disintegration of a stream of liquid metal through an atomizing nozzle by compressed air. This method produces a powder with a spherical particle shape.

Flaky or lamellar metal powders are produced by ball milling. High purity copper powders are flattened into flaky shape by the impact of steel balls onto the powder during a milling process.
ECKA Cu powder MP are thin, lamellar copper powders showing high specific surface and low apparent density. Aspect ratio of that powder is up to 100 : 1.
