Step-by-step instructions

2 oz Oval Natural tubes with a twist-up (propelrepel) base. This is NOT a push-up tube. It twists up & down like a lip balm tube.
Recommended filling temps (plus or minus 5 degrees):
145 degrees for a deodorant or lotion bar (product wout alcohol)
165 degrees for an antiperspirant
Filling with a solution that is too hot can warp the plastic & damage the mechanisms. Containers are not "water tight", so pouring too hot can also cause leaking (until the formulation solidifies). Compatibility testing is always recommended as well as twisting up and down prior to use to ensure that the tubes work properly. If the solution placed in them is too thick or pasty, the twist mechanism cannot freely move product up and down.

Vitamin E, natural plant derived mixed tocopherols and soy, is nature's perfect antioxidant. Easy to incorporate in formulations containing oils or butters, such as soaps, creams, lotions, lip balms, massage oils, body butters, scrubs & more. It is also used to assist in slowing the oxidation process in your fixed oils. Tocopherols can only prevent oxidation, not reverse it, so add Vitamin E as early as possible. Vitamin E is an essential fat-soluble vitamin composed of 8 naturally occurring compounds. Although this is non-organic, it qualifies for use in "organic" or "made with organic material" in products.

To ensure that your finished product is compatible, we recommend testing initially in small quantities. These tins are designed for oil & wax-based products. Water may cause rust.

Our unscented, Paraben Free light & nourishing Hand & Body lotion quickly replenishes moisture & restores softness, without leaving a greasy, oily, or sticky feel. It is compatible with all oils and additives. Since it is all white, it requires very little colorant. Use unscented (as-is) or add Fragrance or Essential Oils at a ratio of up to 3%. Since it is 100% odor free, you will use less oil to scent it. It is compatible with all oils and no heating or machine mixing is required to add color, fragrance or essential oils. If you choose to heat the base, do not exceed 104F (40C) as you will risk separation. Not only is it a great lotion base at a great price, but it is also a high quality product that will not separate or lose its integrity.
