Ergolift opens up many new opportunities for fast, convenient and safe handling of moderate loads. It relieves the operator of strenuous operations, such as gripping, lifting, holding and turning an object, and it does this quickly and with high precision. When fitted with suitable lifting tools, the Ergolift is a versatile and economical aid that provides the perfect solutions to many handling problems. The Ergolift is a manually controlled hydraulic lifting arm operated by means of a handle at the tool attachment. The control handle can be used to regulate the lifting speed steplessly from rest up to the maximum speed. The handle is spring-loaded and reverts to the neutral position when automatically balanced. No resetting is necessary when the load is changed. The load can easily be moved manually at any time in all horizontal directions. When the control handle is in the neutral position, the load will always be maintained at a constant level. The vertical and horizontal movements can be coordinated, so that the load will always be moved in the required direction.
The Ergobalancer is a manually controlled and pneumatically driven manipulator with an electronic control that automatically balances any load to a “weightless” condition. The load can conveniently be moved, quickly and with great accuracy, to any position within the operating area of the arm. Function The Ergobalancer has no buttons or levers and does not need any time consuming adjustments for different loads. Even if the load is changing during handling, it is perfectly balanced at all times. The operator can move the floating load in any direction (vertically or horizontally) just by pushing or pulling it in the desired direction. The control is so simple and logical, that anyone using it will achieve high speed and safety in a matter of minutes.
Ergoflex Ergobalancer can be equipped witha wide variety of tools. The actual design of the tool is dependent on the task at hand. Typical tools include lifting hooks, lifting tongs, magnetic and suction tools, and grippers. In many cases we manufacture special tools to meet the customer´s requirements. Briefly outlined here has proved to be the solution to most of the handling problems encountered by our customers. The ergogrip is a hydraulic, modular gripping unit for objects weighing up to about 200 kg (400 lbs). The design of the unit is shown in the adjacent figure. The tool which is available in eleven basic versions is connected to hydraulic system of the Ergoflex and requires no additional power supply. The gripping jaws are easily replaceable and are matched to suit the object to be handled.
ERGOMOVE is a manually controlled, hydraulically operated vertical lifting unit, manoeuvred by means of a single-hand control on the tool attachment. Lifting speed is stepplessly variable from 0 to maximum by meansof the spring-loaded control handle. Usually the Ergomove is fitted to a lightweight traverse trolley and beam system, post or wallmounted split jib crane or cantilever type trolley crane. Lateral movements are affected manually or motor powered depending upon installation.
The Ergoflex hydraulic manipulator is now also available with a vertically and horizontally articulated arm system. The Type MB model has three vertical rotation axes instead of two (as Model MA has). Its operation, control, and tool attachment for lifting tools is in general the same as for Type MA. The features with Model MB are that it can be built for very low ceiling heights. Also the outer arm of the machine can be designed according to special needs. Therefore it is easier and less expensive to make a special manipulator of Model MB than Model MA. Another feature with Model MB is that it can be built for much larger off center loads than Model MA. The “reach inunder” capability can also be very large for this model.
