The majority of parts we cast are application specific to a certain customer, or OEM(Original Equipment Manufacturer). These parts are in a variety of hardnesses from the very soft to the very hard depending upon the application. We guide customers in the material selection process to maximize the performance of parts in their application. We design your tooling to ensure its proper performance and supply sample first article parts prior to production parts to verify your satisfaction. Applications requiring high abrasion resistance, outstanding tear and tensile strength, noise dampening, chemical resistance, and excellent load bearing capability, find that urethane surpasses most other polymers.

Urethane has become the logical choice for many roller and wheel applications. Historically, many of these rollers were out of rubber or plain steel. Urethane wears longer than rubber and greatly reduces the damage and noise of steel. Urethane rollers can be molded to size or overcast and then ground down to a finish size for more high tolerance applications. We strip and recover existing rolls and cover new cores for the first time. Whatever the roll, large or small, we have the service and capability to handle your application.

We manufacture sheet as large as 70”wide x 150”long from 38”thk to several inches thick. We can pour smaller or custom shapes to fit your needs and reduce waste from drops. Sheets can be poured with or without a metal backing plate in hardnesses from 10 Shore A to 70 Shore D and anywhere in between. Urethane parts can be poured with both hard and soft segments on the same part. The different hardness materials bond together without the need for screws or other fasteners. Some parts require a soft segment to seal in an application while a harder segment provides the structural support that is needed. Multi-durometer parts perform well in these applications. Multi-durometer parts often do away with the need for metal backing or support plates. A simple change away from these expensive metal backing plates reduces costs, improves delivery, and removes the corrosiveness of the metal.
