The Mini-Cohesio machine consists of a servo driven in-line coating technology specifically designed for label printers seeking very compact and more affordable equipment to manufacture their PS material or labels after printing for small and medium run.

This equipment is perfect to convert into a finished PS label, an unsupported film or paper which was previously printed in flexography, offset, rotogravure, digital, etc

The Mini-Cohesio is an easy-to-operate 13-inch web width coating laminating machine. It can come equipped with thePellicut technology which enables to die-cut down to 18 micron release liners and a nonstop turret rewinder.

Silicoat is a silicone application machine applying from 0.06gsm to 2gsm with high precision and simple adjustment.

This machine is perfect to pre-siliconize glassine or PET, and it is very compact with a UV curing system in the nitrogen chamber. Silicoat can be used for laboratory or for in-house production

The Pellicut is a heavy duty module for precise die-cutting. It includes a W type anti-deflecting system to avoid pressure cutting variation and a die equalizer system to correct the thickness inconsistency of magnetic plate. This unit is fully servo-motorized and is equipped with a cassette system allowing quick change of the die.

This patented technology enables to die-cut with regular die down to .48 mil (18 microns) polyester film or 20 lbs SCK or glassine at a speed of up to 750 ftmin. (225 mmin.). The Pellicut is offered as a stand-alone unit or could be retrofitted to the Cohesio or to an existing servo label press.

ETI manufactures butt splicing equipment for automatic rolls splicing without stopping or slowing the press. The units, designed with a double unwind and festoon accumulating system, will automatically splice the webs at full line speed, with no overlap splicing. ETI butt splicers are available for web width from 13 to 30 (330mm to 760mm)

Automatic Turret rewind : for small finished rolls.

Our automatic turret rewind is equipped with 5 pneumatic air spindles available for web width from 13 to 26 (330mm to 670mm). The units are designed with a festoon accumulating system for zero-speed cutting. Standard configuration is equipped with automatic webcore gluing and tail gluing feature.

Various options are available as automatic core loading, cut between labels, automatic print and apply label tail closing device, and multiple integrated slitting options.

Core sizes are available from 1 to 3 (25mm to 76mm).

From 1 to 1.5 (25mm to 38mm): max transfer speed 350fpm (100mpm), max roll OD 7 (175mm).

From 1.5 to 3 (38mm to 76mm): max transfer speed 500fpm (150mpm), max roll OD 16 (400mm).

2. Master rolls Transfer rewind: for big rolls rewinding.

Our transfer rewind is a 2 shaft unit available for web width from 13 to 30 (330mm to 760mm). The unit will rewind up to the desired rolls diameter and transfer automatically to the other spindle at 500fpm (150mpm).

Caedo is an in register die-cutting machine that consists mainly of four sections: unwind, die-cutting, matrix rewinding and rewind stations.

The unwind station comes with an electromagnetic braking system, which ensures constant tension control for heavy rolls; it also has a slide-out core to facilitate the roll change. The flexibility of the die-cutting station enables to die-cut, perforate and sheet in the same station. In production, the second pass registration is achieved using a servo motor. The die-cutting station is also equipped with an adjustable anvil, which enables to adjust very precisely the depth of the die-strike.

Furthermore, the constant close loop tension control on the rewinding unit insures perfectly straight reels for maximum productivity.

The facestock is positioned at the first unwind, while the liner (glassine or film) is at the second.

The production sequence is as follows:

The machine starts and the printing registration is done on the facestock.

The liner, silicone and glue are not needed during the printing set-up therefore, waste is minimized;

When the printing set-up is completed, you will then introduce the silicone, the adhesive coating and the lamination of the webs, in order to become self-adhesive material;

This printed self-adhesive label stock is die-cut at the end of the line to produce finished labels

Easily and in one operation, you will be able to produce a finished label at the same cost that your competitors buy the pressure sensitive stock.
