EMC has five CNC Mills with a maximum table size of 35” X 65”. All of the CNC Mills are equipped with automatic tool changers. Three of the mills have true 4th axis machining ability. With our CAM system we can produce 3D parts directly from your solid model. Exact Machine Corporation is experienced in milling all types of metal and engineered plastics. EMC has eight CNC lathes. We can efficiently turn parts as small as 1⁄4” diameter and as large as 24” diameter. Accessories and equipment on the CNC Lathes includes: live tooling with Y-axis, live and dead centers, Hydraulic steady rests, and automatic bar pullers. Exact Machine Corporation manufactures all of the items that make up the titanium outrigger assemblies used for NHTSA vehicle rollover testing. The component list can be used to clarify the items listed on NHTSA's Drawing Number R-B-A #2, Figure A-3, Outrigger Bracket Assembly, and Drawing Number O-E-A #1, Figure A-4, Hemispherical Skid Pad Assembly. The component list also shows the quantity of each item required to out fit a vehicle for testing. Pictured are items that make up an outrigger assembly. The Titanium I-Beams and mounting hardware are not pictured. The NHTSA-3500-A titanium outrigger assembly, previously the lightweight outrigger assembly, can be used on vehicles with a maximum curb weight of 3, 500 lbs (1587 Kg). The NHTSA-6000-A titanium outrigger assembly, previously the standard outrigger assembly, can be used on vehicles with a maximum curb weight of 6, 000 lbs (2721 Kg). The NHTSA-10000-A titanium outrigger assembly, previously the heavy outrigger assembly, can be used on vehicles with a maximum curb weight of 10, 000 lbs (4535 Kg).
