Fabsorb™ material absorbs machine-induced energy, limits the transmission of higher frequency disturbances and provides isolation from ambient and induced shock and vibration, which otherwise would affect the accuracy of the machine being installed. Fabsorb material is specifically designed for vibration isolation applications of support foundations for machine tools, shock testing equipment, grinders and similar equipment.

Fabreeka-PTFE bearing pad is comprised of the original fabric reinforced, elastomeric pad developed in 1936. Fabreeka-PTFE pad is used to accommodate construction irregularities such as rotation and non-parallel load bearing surfaces, while also providing a sliding surface to accommodate expansion. The Fabreeka-PTFE bearing pads are manufactured with a Teflon® surface for use in expansion bearings and pipe slides. Fabreeka pad is scientifically constructed to give years of service under the most severe operating conditions. Fabreeka-PTFE pad can be used in structural expansion bearings, slide bearings, pipe clamps and as pipe support pads.

Fabreeka structural expansion bearings, or slide bearings, accommodate thermal expansion and structural rotation in buildings, bridges and pipe supports. Fabreeka designs and manufactures four types of expansion slide bearings for a wide range of applications. The expansion bearings are supplied as an upper and lower unit prepared to be tack or stitch welded in the field. For proper bearing design, several questions must be answered. DIMFAB 280 is manufactured using a specific elastomeric compound that is designed to meet the MIL-D-24709 specification for Distributed Isolation Material (DIM). DIMFAB 280 is primarily used by the US Navy for vibration isolation applications in submarines and surface ships.

Isolation washers and Fabreeka bushings are used to eliminate metal-to-metal contact and break the vibration or shock transmission path. For example, the contact between a machine base and an anchor bolt as shown. Washers & bushings are typically used in conjunction with Fabreeka pads or Fabcel pads where the reduction of impact shock or isolation of transmitted vibration is required
