We fabricate and distribute a comprehensive selection ceramic fiber and alkaline earth silicate products from Thermal Ceramics, Fiberfrax, and Lytherm.AttributesCeramic fiber products withstand extreme temperatures, and demonstrate an excellent ability to resist chemical attack. They are flexible, light-weight thermal and acoustical insulators with low thermal conductivities. Low bio-persistency alkaline earth silicates share similar properties with ceramic fibers while also allowing users to remain compliant with RCF substitution requirements.

We carry and custom fabricate flexible, semi-rigid, and rigid fiberglass blankets and boards useful for OEM production, HVAC equipment, refrigeration products, ovens, and many other applications. Our suppliers include Johns Manville, Ottawa Fibre, and Owens Corning.AttributesMade from extremely fine silica-based glass fibers, and various bonding agents, fiberglass is useful in construction because of its thermal insulation, noise reduction, and heat-resitant properties. A high surface to weight ratio also makes fiberglass an ideal and affordable building material.

We stock Roxul, Thermafiber, and Fibrex mineral wool batts, bulk fibers, pipes, pipe and tank wraps, and blocks in many different densities, and thicknesses. Attributes Mineral wool products inhibit the spread of fires because mineral wool fibers are non-combustible, with melting temperatures in excess of 1900º F. Mineral wool products are useful for more than just fire resistant applications. They also trap air, slowing heat transfer, and like other insulating products available for fabrication and distribution at FSI, mineral wool products reduce air condensation, and act as effective acoustical insulators.

Our experience covers extruded and expanded polystreme boards, polyisocyanurate boards, foam rolls, foam sheets, foam tubing, and high temperature gasket and seal foams from polyimide, silicone, PVC, and latex. We also stock one-component, and two-component, spray foams, and accessories.AttributesFoam insulation products vary widely, and knowing the proper product for a given application can be difficult.
