Simpson Strong-Tie A angles provide a way to make a wide range of 90 degree connections. The Strong-Tie A21 angle features a G90 galvanized finish for added corrosion resistance and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.

The Strong-Tie EPB elevated post bases are designed to allow a 1" to 2-12" clearance above concrete. The Strong-Tie EPB44HDG elevated post base features a hot-dip galvanized coating. The minimum average coating weight is 2.0 oz.ft2 (per ASTM A123 total both sides). This product requires hot-dip galvanized fasteners (fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153).

Simpson PPSD Sheathing to CFS Screws are commonly used to fasten subfloorsheathing to cold-formed steel. Coated with Yellow-Zinc Dichromate, also comes in the Quik guard coating.

Grip-Rite electrogalvanized smooth shank coil roofing nails are designed to quickly and reliably install shingles to roofs with power nailers. These nails come in 15 degree wire welded coils which are compatible with most 15 degree power roofing nailers.

The Simpson Strong-Tie RPBZ Retrofit Post Base is designed to reinforce existing posts and columns. The single, versatile model will fit on any size post consisting of a double 2x4 or larger. RPBZ can also be used to reinforce new post-base connections, such as braced carports, patio covers, decks and other structures. The RPBZ can be installed with the CPS composite plastic standoff to meet a 1" post standoff code requirement. A single RPBZ can be installed on a post that is flush to a corner, and two RPBZs can be installed at away from edge conditions to fortify the post base connection to resist both wind and seismic forces. . The Strong-Tie RPBZ post base features a G185 ZMAX galvanized finish for added corrosion resistance and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.

The Strong-Tie BC series offers dual purpose post capbase for light cap or base connections. The BC4Z post cap is approved to be installed with the specified nails or Strong-Drive SD connector screws. The Strong-Tie BC4Z post base features a G185 ZMAX galvanized finish for added corrosion resistance and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.
Use all specified fasteners.
