Evolving from the highly successful blind riveter the D-700A D-700-VM the new D-700C addresses user needs for an even more versatile, powerful, reliable, and field repairable tooling system. A new smart valve permits a greatly reduced wrist effort for installation of a wide variety of straight pull blind fasteners including all CherryMax style (M7885) blind rivets, Cherry blind bolts (MS9035354SU) (thru 316" dia.), Rivnuts thru 38" and most blind inserts. The D-700C riveter is provided with the Vari-Max adjustable pressure control to permit precise setting of pulling force when installing blind rivet nut fasteners. The D-700C may be used with any of the nosepieces and accessories supplied in the D-100 series kits.

The D-100-C will install blind rivets up to 14" diameter (including automotive split rivets, Monobolts, and Huck Magna-Lok) and blind rivet nuts up to 38" Aluminum and 14-20" or 6mm steel.
Requiring no external power, the D-100 series riveters are ideally suited for any limited production or repair operation. Because of the lightweight and compact size the riveters can be used in limited access areas where other riveters often require very costly adaptive tooling.
With the D-100-C you are ready to repair, restore, maintain, or customize automobiles, vans, buses, RVs, boats and small aircraft.

Introducing the new FSI K-1000-H Sheet Metal Mechanics Tool Kit Roll-Around Box. The K-1000-H is a perfect addition to your hangar maintenance program. This new kit is equipped with all the necessary pneumatic and hand tools to install and remove all blind rivets (CherryMax & Huck type Blind Bolts), solid AD fasteners, Jo-bolt fasteners and Hi-Shear fasteners up to 14 diameter. We supply the most current aerospace tooling in a state of the art system, including router cut foam for rapid inventory and tool control.
This new HangarBox measures 60 x 27-34 x 37-12 , and has five (5) drawers partitionedto hold two (2) trays each. Individualdrawers have their own lock-inlock-out latch and a hinged bar, allowing all tools to be securedwith a padlock. Each Hangar Box is equipped with two (2) fixed casters and two (2) swivel casters with 6 polyurethane wheels and tread-locks for easy positioning at a work station or an aircraft dock. It also has a pushpull bar attached, and is complete with a 60 x 30 x 1-34 (thick) hardwood top.

The D-100-C Hand Hydrualic Nutsetter suppplied in the D-100-RN kit provides up to 3, 750 lbs of pulling force over a .625" stroke. In the event that are limited access areas where the larger air operated tool will not fit, or if compressed air is unavailable, the sheet metal technician has the capability to perform needed installation.
The D-100 series riveters in the FSI kits are currently being used by commercial airlines, aerospace vehicle manufacturers, military aviation maintenance organizations, general aviation fixed based operators, private aircraft fleets and aircraft kit homebuilders.

The Hazloc meets the NEC Article 513 Aircraft Hanger requirements for Class I Division 2 locations and is tested to Mil Standard 810F, Method 511.4. There is an indication lamp and beeper which has a precise sensor that indicates the following conditions with light andor beeping: sufficient fastening, insufficient fastening, low battery power and battery too low to operate. The Hazloc has a torque accuracy of: +- 10% or +- sigma. The tool automatically shuts-off tool when pre-set fastening torque is reached to ensure accuracy.

FSI is pleased to announce the introduction of its new Special Pulling Head Rotating Adapter. Available for use with all FSI Cordless, Air Hydraulic and Hand Hydraulic Blind Riveters and Lockbolt tools, these adapters permit the artisan to position the special right angle and offset pulling heads through a complete 360 degree angle of rotation in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. This eliminates the need to loosen the jam nuts on the pulling heads to position the heads to fit the work area need. This helps minimize potential damage to the threads on the pulling head due to inadverent loosening (unthreading) of the head during the positioning and re-positioning process. Available for use with Cherry Aerospace, Huck and Olympic style offset and right angle pulling heads, these adapters provide a major improvement in flexibility with negligible changes in adapter profile and weight.

Weighing less than 5 lbs, the PT-7421 Air Operated Spin Pull to Pressure Nutsetter has evolved from the production tested reliable stroke adjustable version, the 7420. With pull force adjustment capability the PT-7421 allows the user to insure that the force imparted to the fastener will not exceed the bearing strength of the material it is being installed into (ie. fiberglass, wood, composites) or the thread of the fastener itself. This feature significantly reduces the potential for damage or excessive wear to the pull up stud (mandrel) and anvil assembly due to material thickness variations. Affording a .275" stroke, the PT-7421 is capable of installing virtually all blind nut and insters within its capacity range in one stroke, including Rivnuts (NAS1329, NAS1330, MS27130), Plusnuts, AVK ribbed inserts and Blind Nuts, AVdel Nutserts and Thin Sheet Nutserts (TSN). Importantly, if the user inadvertently recycles the riveter after installation, the fastener threads andor parent material remain unaffected. Utilizing standard Grade 8 Socket Head Cap Screws as pull up studs (mandrels) reduces replacement cost and permits wide flexibility for adapting to different fastener lengths. The driving anvil assembly is adjustable to permit quick adaption to most all standard blind rivet nuts or inserts.

This unique, patented tool sets plastic rivets in one stroke. The in-line design allows access where conventional right-angle tools cannot reach. Plastic rivets have been used by automobile manufacturers for years and offer significant benefits over metal rivets.

The D-9000-MIL-2 is ideal for field maintenance modification, and BDR applications. It provides hand mechanical, hand hydraulic, air hydraulic and cordless blind riveters all in one convenient case. It can be used for Air Mobility, Line Maintenance and Battle Damage Repair Kits. The D-9000-Mil-2 installs all CherryMax thru 14" and most Blind Bolts thru 316".
In addition a wide selection of rivet nosepieces are provided to permit installation of virtually all single action blind rivets thru 316" diameter currently in DOD inventory, including CherryMax (thru 14") (M7885NAS9300), Cherrylock "A" Olympic-lok (NAS1400A), Huck SMLS (NAS1900S), Nutplate rivets (Mil-N-25027), POP rivets (Mil-R-24243), Self-Plugging Rivets (MS20600), and Huck or Cherry Blind Bolts (MS9035354 S or U). The Kit contains the capability to install Huck Magna-lokH (M788510) and Cherry Interlock wire draw rivets in 316 and 14" inch diameters commonly used on military and commercial vehicles, including the HMMWV, trucks, trailers, shelters, cargo containers, radar domes, and ground support equipment.
The D-9000-MIL-2 kit contains the pull-up studs and driving anvils used in conjunction with the hand hydraulic D-700 combination riveter-nutsetter which permit installation of blind nuts (NAS132930, MS 2713031) in sizes 6-32 thru 38-16. The riveter provides over 4, 000 lbs of pulling force, and because of its unique two-stage valve system, wrist effort is reduced as the loads increase. For this reason the D-700 riveter is equipped with a pressure regulating feature called Vari-Max which allows the user to set the pulling pressure desired for the particular lot of blind nuts being installed, thereby minimizing the chance of thread failure from excessive pulling force or improper installation due to inadequate upset loads.
