For aerospace products we design and manufacture custom crating systems that can protect delicate parts from damage. In this example the customer asked us to design a crating solution that could replace their existing card board packaging, which had failed to protect their high value aerospace cargo from damage. They were reluctant to use wood due to a common misperception that it would cause the same issues that they were already experiencing.

Using a sample rifle, we designed a foam and plastic case set with overall part dimensions of 55" x 12" x 6"; featuring tolerances as tight as + 18". Our engineering team chose a highly dense polyethylene foam that was precisely die cut to touch and hold the rifle along its entire geometry. This would stabilize the rifle and prevent it from dislodging in the event of impact or excessive motion. It was an innovative foam design developed by our engineers. In addition, the foam material was inserted into a hardened plastic rifle case for an added layer of protection. All of our work was performed according to both our own standards and our customer's ordinance quality guidelines.

We can work with flammable gases (division 2.1), non-flammable gases (2.2), toxic gases (2.3), flammable liquids (3), flammable solids (4.1), substances liable to spontaneous combustion (4.2, substances which in contact with water emit flammable gases (4.3), oxidizing substances (5.1), organic peroxides (5.2), toxic substances (6.1), corrosives (8), and miscellaneous dangerous goods (9). We do not ship explosives, infectious substances, or radioactive materials.

In this project, we helped a customer who needed a manufacturer that was capable of revising, planning, and pricing a MIL-I45208A compliant product under a tight deadline. This defense industry customer asked us to enhance their initial design for a sandbag weightlifting kit prior to its deployment.
