Polyphenylenether belongs to the group of the amorphous materials and can be used in temperatures ranging from -58 °F to approx. +302 °F. PPE exhibits a high impact strength, a low water absorption, a very high dimensional stability and a very low tendency to creep. The electrical properties will not be influenced by the surrounding frequencies and therefore can be used in a lot of applications in electrical engineering. Polysulfone shows great thermal stability (from -148 °F to +320 °F). PSU possesses a high mechanical strength, very good dielectric properties and hydrolysis resistance, high radiation resistance and self-extinguishing (permeable for microwaves). PSU has a low notch impact strength. High Density Polyethylene has a good chemical resistance to almost all acids and bases, detergents and hot water. HDPE has good insulation properties and is easy to weld. The operating temperature is from -58 °F to +194 °F. Acrylnitrile Butadiene Styrene copolymer has a good thermal and dimensional stability and high impact strength (also at low temperature). It is strong, shows a good scratch resistance and has a good dimensional stability. ABS can be used in temperatures ranging from -58 °F to 158 °F. Properties: good mechanical strength and hardness resists scratching high surface strength high impact strength high dimensional stability not weather resistant limited resistance to acid and caustic solutions Applications: Parts with a high impact strength, spacers, rollers, prototypes, structural components and electronic industry.

he linear Polyphenylensulfide belongs to the semi-crystalline materials and offers a very high mechanical capacity, thermal- and chemical resistance distinguished at the same time (usual operating temperature up to approximately +300 °F), high dimensional stability and creep strength. The LOI belongs to the highest of the Polymers. By the reinforcement with glass fibres strength is achieved, which is comaparable with light metal. PPS closes the gap between the technical synthetics and PEEK with its strength and economy. GEHR PPS-40GF® The 40% glass fibre reinforced PPS has an improved dimensional stability and higher stiffness which can be compared with light metal applications. Usual operating temperature up to approx. +860 °F. Properties: high thermal resistance great dimensional stability higher surface stiffness

Acetal can be used in temperatures rangeing from -58 °F to +230 °F. The high surface strength is only surpassed by a few materials. POM shows good sliding properties and high resistance to wear and tear because of the high strength and smooth surface. There is a very low risk of stress cracks. POM-C (Co-polymer) exhibits a good thermal stability and a good resistance to chemicals (high resistance to hydrolysis).
