Stamping dies were designed in-house using AUTOCAD, based on the customers supplied specifications in print and .DWG file. Tight quality control employed in the stamping process ensured that all 120, 000 spring contacts complied with tight tolerances of 0.0005. The product also required gold plating. It was delivered within 35 days of receipt of the order.

In addition to providing brackets to well-known manufacturers and popular brand names, Keats Manufacturing also has experience manufacturing custom brackets for a wide variety of applications, including door panels, instrument panels, fender assemblies, airbags, ABS brake systems and control switches, among many others.

To manufacture innovative custom bushings, Keats Manufacturing Company utilizes the latest, state-of-the-art technology, including CADCAM and five EDM and CNC machines. Our expert die makers create all of our tools in-house, ensuring precise tooling methods developed to meet our customers exact specifications.

In addition to designing and building the terminals, Keats Manufacturing Co. also packaged this product in special packaging and delivered to the clients location in Europe. One million terminals were manufactured with our precision stamping services. These terminals were plated with bright tin for high corrosion resistance. The reel to reel plating process we performed ensured uniform deposition of tin and significant cost savings to the customer. When manufacturing your custom terminals, Keats provides pre-post, selective, and precious plating, wire bonding, and secondary forming with selecting plating. Keats combines technological innovation including, FourMulti slide machining, JIT, CADCAM and five EDM and CNC machines, operated and overseen by 25 of the industrys most experienced die makers to create tools of uncompromising quality.

The parts were manufactured individually using our stamping process. Brass, used in this assembly, was pre-plated with 100% tin for improved corrosion resistance. The silver contacts were assembled during the stamping process. The customer also saved on inventory as we offered JIT delivery services for the 300, 000 pieces ordered. We delivered the contact assemblies directly to the customers location in Mexico.

The Compression Molding Process involves forming parts by placing material into a heated metal mold and applying pressure.
