This flooring is used for a manure spreader Gemini Plastics, Inc. custom CNC machined these HDPE floor panels for a customer in the agricultural equipment industry for use in manure spreaders. CNC machined from black HDPE, chosen for its impact and wear resistance, the customer specifications required that the 197" long x 35.05" wide by 0.63" thick flooring panels be fabricated to within ±.010" tolerances - a challenge when using HDPE because of its relatively high rate of thermal expansion.

Our component is bonded to the interior of a medical scanning device which allows the mating component to be fastened to the primary assembly. customer in the medical equipment industry contracted Gemini Plastics to fabricate the PVC mounting block highlighted here. This block was used in a medical scanning device, allowing the mating component to be fastened to the primary assembly. Our state-of-the-art CNC vertical machine center was utilized to manipulate the PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) plastic sheet to the exacting specifications. Processes including milling, drilling, and tapping were employed to reach the final shape, holding a tight tolerance of ± 0.005" throughout. The machined part was deburred to remove unwanted post machining particles.

This PA Pivot Bushing is used within a medical bed application Fabricated from nylon with a molybdenum additive for increased lubricity, Gemini Plastics, Inc. manufactured this pivot bushing for use within a medical bed application. Our challenge was to keep the tolerances to a very tight ± 0.005" on the diameters and ±1ᵒ on the contours. Our expert machinists crafted the precision tooling required to meet this requirement, and utilizing our 75 ton injection molding press, we produced 5, 000 of these 1.50" O.D., 0.515" I.D., and 0.75" high bushings. Quality was assured by a first article inspection, as required by QS 9000, and the units were shipped to the customer on a 3-4 week turnaround. The finished Drain pan and fitting is mounted to the bottom of an air conditioning unit.A customer in the HVAC industry needed a company with the abilities to fabricate precision parts with plastic to exacting specifications. Gemini Plastics was contracted to perform all of the work highlighted here, which consisted of the custom manufacturing of a triple outlet drain pan and fitting. These components were for use in an HVAC application; the finished drain pan and fitting were mounted to the bottom of an air conditioning unit.
