GTG Engineering presents a revolutionary new product, LLFA® Tape, which is changing the way industry insulates and seals gas, liquid, steam and electricity. It is an ideal product for electricians, plumbers and natural gas technicians. How it Works: LLFA® Tape can be applied on almost any surface material, from galvanized and cast iron to copper and all types of plastics or rubber. It contains no adhesive, so pulling the tape as tight as possible on all layers allows it to seal by compression. Once applied, LLFA® fuses with itself, thus forming a heavy duty bond or “rubber sheath” on the leak or connection. As its primary function is sealing through compression, there is no issue with adhesion and compatibility. It doesn’t lose its tension over time, even in harsh environments.

LLFA® Smooth is a fast-acting insulating putty that stays flexible and works well in conjunction with LLFA® Tape. It is an ideal solution for filling rough andor uneven surface before using LLFA® Tape to seal the leak. Some of LLFA® Smooth’s notable features are: It is soft enough to mold into any cavity or change in diameter, yet consistent enough to hold its shape once applied. It saves time as LLFA® Smooth molds quickly and easily, without the use of gloves or chemicals. It saves money by reducing application time. Also, by not having to make additional layers to fill in gap, less LLFA® tape is needed to create the seal.

LLFA is tough enough to repair damaged and leaking pipes subject to pressure and temperature variants, without having to turn off the water source. It will seal leaks up to 150 PSI (water, air and steam). LLFA Tape was designed to seal leaks in harsh weather conditions and is currently used as a permanent repair for natural gas leaks by leading natural gas companies, both locally and internationally.
