Reticulated foam is a compressible, open cell, polyurethane ether foam used in a variety of filtering applications. It is commonly used as weep baffles in residential windows and commercial curtain wall and cladding applications. It weeps moisture and condensation from the building while minimizing the infiltration of air, moisture, insects, dust, etc. Weep baffles are commonly 30PPI (pores per inch). 10 and 20PPI are also available in limited thicknesses. A lower PPI means faster weeping action. Manufacturing tolerance is +or- 5PPI, which may result in slightly different appearance from lot to lot.
