Portable Industrial Vacuum

  • Model Number 450 (50 HP) – 2.9 to 1 Model 475 (75 HP) – 4.5 to 1
  • CONTROL PANEL Nema 4 Panel
Hi-Vac 400 Series portable industrial vacuum systems offer additional filtration for higher horsepower applications. The 450 and 475 models move dry material, wet material or liquids through up to 900 feet of vacuum hose or a Hi-Vac designed in-plant piping system using a powerful 18 Hg vacuum producer. Material is separated from the air stream with a patented 3 Stage Filtration System including a primary centrifugal separator which spins the air, causing most of the material to drop out of the air stream into the end dump hopper below. Air then moves through a secondary linear separator, which causes the air stream to speed up and change direction, dropping smaller fines and entrained moisture into the hopper. Finally, the air stream enters the dust collector housing where it passes through 15 envelope-style filter bags before moving into the vacuum producer and out into the atmosphere through an exhaust air silencer. The 400 Series portable industrial vacuum systems are equipped with easy-to-use controls and instrumentation for operation and monitoring performance to protect critical components.

Heavy-duty Industrial Vacuum

Hi-Vac 800 Series heavy-duty industrial vacuum systems offer a simple design that is easy to operate. These heavy-duty units easily vacuum solids, liquids and anything in between utilizing two stages of filtration that include a primary radial flow inlet with a replaceable, abrasion resistant panel and a cylindrical dust collector with up to four filter cartridges. The filter cartridges are continuously cleaned by reverse pulses of compressed air from a dual header arrangement that can be fed by local plant air or by an optional air compressor. Filter cleaning can be switched between automatic and manual modes with a selector switch as necessary. This low-maintenance, heavy-duty industrial vacuum system gives the user the versatility to optimize equipment performance, and maximize the life of the filter cartridges.

DRUMVAC VACUUM SYSTEMS

The DrumVac industrial drum vacuum is available in three models: DrumVac 100, 150 and 180 utilizing 10, 15 and 18 HP. All drum vacuum equipment models are equipped with a vacuum producer that is capable of providing vacuum up to 16 Hg. This drum vacuum unit is designed to vacuum dry material, wet material, or liquids. DrumVac industrial vacuum equipment is very effective utilizing our optional Drum Topper. The Drum Topper, combined with a standard 55-gallon drum, functions as an intercept hopper that collects the majority of the material in a convenient easy-to-handle drum before the material reaches the unit. The smaller remaining particles continue to the unit through the vacuum hose and enter through a deflector plate inlet. The material drops in to the hopper prior to the air moving upward and passing though a single cartridge filter. The air then goes through the vacuum producer and exits from the silencer. DrumVac drum vacuums are low-maintenance, simple-to-operate machines that offer more productivity for the user.

Industrial Vacuum Loaders

  • Model 310 (10 HP) – 2.6 to 1 Model 320 (20 HP) – 2.25 to 1
  • CONTROL PANEL NEMA 4 Panel
Hi-Vac 300 Series industrial vacuum loaders are a more economical choice when high horsepower is not required. The 310 and 320 Model industrial vacuum loaders move dry material, wet material or liquids through up to 200 feet of vacuum hose or a Hi-Vac designed in-plant piping system using a powerful 18 Hg vacuum producer. Material is separated from the air stream using a more compact version of our patented 3 Stage Filtration System, including a primary centrifugal separator that spins the air, causing most of the material to drop out of the air stream into the end dump hopper below. The air stream then moves up through a vertical column, including an integrated linear separator, which causes the air stream to speed up and change direction, dropping smaller fines and entrained moisture into the hopper. Finally, the air stream enters the dust collector housing where it passes through six envelope-style filter bags before moving into the vacuum producer and out into the atmosphere through an exhaust air silencer.

Central Vacuum Cleaning Systems

On a production line a Hi-Vac manifold system can clean dust and sand from molds, remove machining chips, pick up spills, etc. Inlets can be adapted to production machinery such as cutting heads.

An intercept hopper is used in manifold systems where the material being picked up is to be reclaimed. Most of the material drops out of the airstream into the hopper. Dust and fines continue on and are collected at the Powerhead.

A manifold system is ideal for cleaning out several rail cars, trucks, or barges at one time.

Pneumatic Conveying Systems

As a vacuum conveyor, Hi-Vac is ideal for picking up materials form multiple points for delivery to a single location. The Powerhead can be unhooked for general cleanup or can be used with other conveying systems.

With proper valving, one Hi-Vac can convey materials to multiple locations, doing the work of several pressure transporters. Fines can be left with the material or collected at the Powerhead.

Use a Hi-Vac to load conveyors, bins, trucks, rail cars, barges, etc. A variety of hopper and gate configurations is available for batch, semi-continuous, or continuous discharge.

Stationary Vacuum Systems

Hi-Vac Stationary vacuum systems are available in a variety of configurations to provide the right level of performance for your unique application. When connected to a custom designed Hi-Vac manifold piping system, these modular industrial vacuum loaders can be used as an in-plant central vacuum system with multiple pick-up points or as a pneumatic conveying system transferring material from one point in your process to another. This arrangement provides a central location for maintenance and operation and fewer moving parts than a traditional belt conveyor system. Power modules for these stationary vacuum systems feature a robust positive displacement rotary lobe type blower with ductile iron impellers, which is driven by a TEFC electric motor. Power modules are available with horsepower ranging from 10 to 300 Hp and a maximum vacuum pressure of either 15 or 16 Hg depending on which model you select. Hi-Vac stationary industrial vacuum loaders are equipped with a complete package of instrumentation and product protection controls that include panel-mounted startstop push-button, filter bag differential pressure gauge and dirty filter shutdown, vacuum gauge and high vacuum relief valve, as well as a hopper full level control with automatic shutdown. Many of these items are standard features for select stationary vacuum system models. In order to assemble a complete vacuum loading system, these power modules can be paired with one of five different filterreceiver modules that range in size from 12 to 10 cubic yards. These Hi-Vac filterreceivers can be set up with a variety of different discharge devices to meet your specific requirements, including double dump valves, rotary valves, butterfly valves, pinch valves and slide gates. No matter if you need to discharge your material into a bulk bag, an open container, or re-introduce it back into your process Hi-Vac has an industrial vacuum loader solution for you.

INDUSTRIAL VACUUM LOADER

200 Series portable industrial vacuum systems combine the flexibility of a portable system with powerful suction pressure of up to 18 Hg. 200 Series units feature a patented 3 stage filtration system including a final stage cloth dust collector with 12 envelope style filter bags for removing any remaining particulate from the air stream. These portable industrial vacuum systems can move your material a distance of up to 2, 000 feet through a suction hose or a Hi-Vac designed in-plant piping system with a powerful rotary lobe vacuum producer. Using a forklift, the powerhead, material collection hopper and steel support stand can be moved easily as a unit to any location in your facility, or they can be separated in order to dump a full hopper.
