Deep draw is a process HTT Inc. uses to form material in its severest form usually into 3-dimensional shapes or profiles. With each stroke of the stamping press, flat coil stock is advanced incrementally. The material is manipulated using progressive tooling to precisely minimize material thinning or fracturing until the resulting shape meets your specification. Our expert engineers have developed deep draw dies with a draw depth of up to 6.

At HTT Inc., we have a unique ability to produce multi strip progressive dies to automatically feed multiple coils into one die and produce a multi-component assembly in each cycle of the press. Pictured on the right is a multi strip assembly process with 86 stations, feeding from four coil feeds, producing four parts simultaneously in a single progressive die. This particular die also installs and assembles a bi-metal spring to produce a single assembly with a cycle time of eight seconds.

HTT, Inc. has a complete Wire EDM Department which produces tight tolerance die components. Using our multiple machines, we can handle a wide variety of parts. Our capabilities include an in-house heat treating which heats parts to desired hardness specifications.

If you require assembly of stamped parts, inserting PEM Fasteners, drilling or tapping, HTT, Inc. is your one stop source. We provide many assembled products including multiple component assemblies and welding. HTT Inc. uses washing and vibratory finishing procedures to ensure your part arrives at your facility deburred and ready for use. In addition, we can prepare your products directly for the store shelves.

HTT Inc. is a full service metal progressive stamping company. We focus on medium- to high-volume metal stampings. Our specialty is Deep Draw stampings. HTT Inc.s welding capabilities include MIG and resistive welders. Our multiple robotic weld cells accommodate your most complex welded assemblies. The picture on the right is an example of a robotic weld cell that produces four blower housing assemblies with one stationary welder and 3 six-axis robot welders with different inner baffles and weld nut combinations. In this particular assembly, we have a 1-12 minute cycle time with a five minute tool changeover time between part combinations.

In association with our partners, HTT Inc. produces low- to medium-volume fabrications including laser cutting and forming simple-to-complex designs. Projects begin as a prototype or fabrication. When production quantities justify it, we graduate the project to a stamping die. Using your design, we supply prototypes and work with you through the engineering process.

HTT, Inc. has a complete in-house powder coating department. We have the ability to paint parts as large as 4 X 4.
