If you are not familiar with silk velvet, do yourself a favor and buy some and do a chair, a sofa, drapes or whathaveyou....it will be the highlight of your decorating life. And Scalamandres Le Tigre is the Best of the Best. This fabric is essentially not affordable for most people through designers, but we slashed the price and made it affordable. Not cheap, but affordable. It has a 30" vertical repeat and the fabric is 60% silk, 30% cotton and 10% viscose Those of you in the know, will know what a STEAL our price is. Go ahead, Treat yourself. This is a truly gorgeous wavy stipe type pattern by Clarence House. The cut velvet is nice and thick, the fabric is fairly heavy and ideal for long lived upholstery, drapery, bedding and many other projects to enrich your home with style and color. The basecloth is a cafe au lait color, and the wavy cut velvet is chocolate brown, sea green soft beige, and orange. This is a high end fabric and the designer price for this fabric is about four to five times our per yard price.
