Industrial Products’ flame detection equipment and services are a key part of industrial safety best practices. We feature equipment for a variety of flame detection methods, including ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) type detectors. UV detectors operate by measuring energy radiation wavelengths, and are capable of registering even the smallest flame within 4 milliseconds. When IR detection equipment is used, a special thermal camera is installed to monitor infrared light, which is not visible to the naked eye. We offer standard types of each of these detectors, as well as combination detectors. Our equipment is suitable for any hazardous location application where there is a risk of flame or explosion. Some typical instances where flame detectors are used are natural gas processing facilities, refineries, hydrogen fire detection, hydrocarbon-based fuel processing, and others. We are pleased to provide monitors that conform to a diverse range of national and international codes.

As part of Industrial Products’ full offering of harsh and hazardous environment safety and outfitting measures, we provide products and services for temperature sensing and control in industrial, pharmaceutical, and municipal settings. Our temperature sensing and control equipment is suitable for the harshest locations, at either extreme, with sensors capable of accurate readings from -459° C to 3000° C. With full system assembly and installation expertise, we handle all components: RTD’s, thermocouples, transmitters, indicators, wires, cables, and more.
