Welcome to International Biomass Supply Company

We at Texas Biomass Supply Company TBS have hard wood fuel chips that are located in the Gulf of Mexico which consist of whole Mesquite that have a yearly average moisture content of 25 and an energy level greater than 4.0 MWh/tonne. We have prepared supporting documents on Mesquite fuel chips which demonstrates this fiber as a viable biomass supply source. The Ash content shall be less than 2 based on the dry 8 moisture content testing. The moisture content of the Chips will be below 30 and the energy above 4.0 MWh/tonne. Production for these wood fuel chips have started and current capacity is up to 10,000 MT of chips per week. Production for each order will start with the executed contract and approved Bank Letter of Credit. From that time the first vessel can be loaded in 30 to 45 days consisting of 30,000 to 35,000 MT. Capacity can gradually increase to handle two vessel loads per month. Following pages show supply of fiber available to be at one million MT per year. Currently we have been harvesting areas of mesquite with average yields of 20 tons per acre.Pricing for the above wood fuel chips can be provided when a full Letter of Interest is provided by the Buyer. When all pertinent information regarding length of contract, volume amounts, exact port logistics and any necessary documents verifying the Buyer is financially capable of such a transaction then a CF price can be provided. Regulations fluctuate between receiving Nations and are the responsibility of the Buyer to determine actual acceptable regulations for their destination port. The Mesquite operation by Texas Biomass Supply is based out of the port of Corpus Christi were there are currently two 7-1/2 Acre staging areas that can load the chips unto large sized vessel for transport. The first contracted volumes have been secured from Ranch land where the removal of mesquite brings back a value to the ranch land since it is considered an intrusive species to this area. The current contracted volumes would sustain a ten year operation with volumes of up to 100,000 MT per month.Mesquite is the most common tree / shrub of the Desert Southwest. Like many members of the Legume Family called Fabaceae these days, mesquite restores nitrogen to the soil. There are 3 common species of mesquite Honey Mesquite Prosopis glandulosa, Screwbean Mesquite Prosopis pubescens and Velvet Mesquite Prosopis velutina. They range from a few feet to 10 to 15 feet in height, although the Honey and Velvet Mesquites may reach 30 to 60 feet in especially favorable settings. They may have single or multiple-branched stems, with each plant assuming its own distinctive shape. Harvesting mesquite from grasslands and rangelands for bioenergy serves a dual purpose in providing an alternative energy source as well as restoring these lands to its natural nature. The primary advantage of mesquite as bioenergy feedstocks is that they do not grow on land better suited for growing food or fiber and thus will not impact agricultural food markets. Harvesting the mesquite is refered to as a sustainable feedstock supply and provide the best opportunity to enhance ecosystem diversity, herbaceous forage production for livestock and habitat for wildlife. Thus, creating an ecologically sustainable harvest scenario that considers more than just feedstock supply yields.
