SCHURTER’s popular filtered appliance inlet, 5120 series, is now available with a plastic flange. The new option expands the existing series, which features a metal flange for screw mounting. The new version features a flat front design, which offers an attractive modern-looking alternative to like products on the market. The newly expanded 5120 series filtered inlet provides customers with more design choices. In addition to various performance features offered in the compact package, the customer can now select between the new front panel mount version with plastic flange and the existing version with metal flange. The plastic flange is modernized to eliminate the bevel around the inlet, providing an attractive flat design that nearly covers the entire surface of the metal flange of the filter case. Mounting takes place with either counter-sunk or flat-head screws. The inlet is equipped with a notch for V-Lock retaining cordsets. The EMC filter is available in standard, medical M5 or M80 versions. The standard filter version uses capacitors class X2 and Y2. Alternatively on request, are versions with capacitors class X1 and Y1 for enhanced surge withstand voltage protection. The series is also available in a protection class II version, without ground pin, according to IEC 61140. The integrated filter at the power input provides highly effective interference suppression, which results in optimized electromagnetic compatibility. Current ratings for the 5120 series range from 1 - 10 A (IEC) or 1 – 15 A (UL) at 250 VAC. The standard 5120 offers quick-connect terminals 6.3 x 0.8mm, solder terminals, wire leads or PCB terminals. The series is ENEC, cURus and CCC approved and suited for use in equipment according to IEC 60950, IEC 60601-1, in addition to IEC 60601-1-11. SCHURTER’s range of protection class II inlets and power entry modules offer a broad selection for use in medical homedics equipment.

SCHURTER’s SHF 6.3x32 fuse provides higher voltage, overcurrent, and short-circuit protection - up to 1500 A @ 500 VAC VDC within a wide range of rated currents, in a universally-accepted, compact package size: 6.3x32 mm, ¼” x 1 ¼”. This high-performance fuse is ideally suited for primary AC circuit protection in 3-phase systems, HVAC systems, lighting and other industrial building and automation systems. The new VDC and current ratings up to 32 A provide primary protection in DC power systems for intelligent buildings, telecom centers, server farms and related peripheral systems. The combined AC and DC voltage ratings along with a detailed listing of breaking capacity ratings, and other precisely-defined performance specifications, offer a highly-reliable fuse approved for use in both alternating or direct-current power applications. The SHF 6.3x32 is available as a standard fuse in 16 rated currents from 1 to 32 A. Versions up to 8 A are offered with pigtail leads for direct mounting on printed circuit boards. The standard fuses can be used in a variety of panel or board mount fuse holders or clips for easy fuse replacement. SCHURTER also offers a full range of high current fuse holders and clips, compatible with the SHF, as well as its time-lag counterpart series SHT. Direct compatibility with the most important competitive products, together with exceeding performance, makes the SHF 6.3x32 a form, fit, and function substitute product, as well as a fuse that fulfills newly defined application requirements, particularly those DC-power applications. The SHF 6.3x32 fuse is cURus approved and conforms to RoHS.

Keystone's holders are specifically engineered to withstand the rigors of abuse and recharging cycles associated with the 18650 Lithium-Ion cell usages. Keystone's new battery holders are ideal for 3.7 volt, high energy, lower weight mobile electronics, industrial and telecomm applications that have circuit protection to prevent battery damage. Holders feature snap-in PC contacts which assure stability during wave soldering. These low profile, space saving holders are clearly marked with polarity identification to assure proper orientation. The bodies are molded from UL 94V-0 rated plastics. Contacts are 0.012" (0.30mm) thick Spring Steel with Tin Nickel plating or Phosphor Bronze with gold flash plating. Optional snap-on, molded PBT UL 94V-0, tamper proof covers which help protect against severe shock, vibration and shorting potential are also available.
