The Top Load Bar Support is designed to safely support rotating bars that are longer than the CNC lathe spindle. The unit will increase machining speeds and provides protection from the rotating bar. Spindle Liners (also referred to as filler tubes, reduction tubes, master liners or sleeves), are used to reduce the I.D. of a CNC Lathe spindle. Clearance is application and material dependent, but usually they are sized to 0.030"-0.060" over the diameter of the bar being machined. The result is faster machining speeds and closer machining tolerances. Spindle liners are used in lathes often in conjunction with bar feeders, bar loaders, baster supports and bar pullers.

When the spindle liner is designed with an extension to increase the bar length capacity of the lathe, it often extends out past the standard coolant collector on the lathe. Our Coolant Collectors Extensions are designed to fit on the existing collector and extend out beyond the end of the spindle liner. This will keep the coolant flowing back into the main reservoir.

The Servo Auto Champ is a cost effective method to chamfer large volumes of bars and requires no change parts. Just set it up for the desired size and push the bar to the stock stop. The bar is detected, clamped, chamfered and released automatically! Cycle times of just 4-8 seconds once the bar is detected at the material stop.
