Front Shock Relocation

The OGS944 Front Shock Relocation brackets rotate the lower bushing mount position 90 degrees from factory which allow the shock bushings to move in a more natural rotation and not rely as much on the bushing misalignment. This means more bind-free movement during maximum axle articulation. Once relocated, the upper shock stem alignment will be more neutral when used with suspension systems of 4" lift or greater.

Shifting the lower mount outboard approximately 2" also creates more clearance between the frame and shock body. This is especially beneficial when running larger body aftermarket shocks and taller, high-articulation suspension systems where the shocks mounted in the stock location can hit the frame.

This bracket maintains the same dual-shear design as the factory mount and is dimensionally the same so any aftermarket shock designed for the JK will fit.

Drag Link Flip Kit

This kit is built with the same quality components that are provided in the popular JSPEC Advanced Geometry Upgrade kit. The JKS1210 is designed for those looking to upgrade their steering without changing their existing suspension geometry.

The drag link flip kit is comprised of 2 critical components.

First, the new drag link directly replaces the factory link and uses the factory adjusting collar and tie rod end at the pitman arm. This installation requires drilling out the steering arm tapered hole in the passengers side knuckle and installing a precision machined tapered insert. We even included a 78 step bit to make this process easy and not require the purchase of an expensive drill bit to complete the install. The new insert has a knurled outer surface and has a slight interference fit making it extremely strong and eliminates any possibility of play or loosening. The insert can also be reused in the opposite position if the Jeep ever needed to be returned to the original steering setup. The drag link flip flattens out the steering angles when combined with the lift heights of 2 and above providing better performing, more solid steering feel over the factory setup. To properly compliment the new steering angles provided by the drag link flip, a front track bar bracket is supplied. The new bracket mounts to the factory track bar axle mount. It not only adapts the factory mount for proper track bar angles, it also strengthens the factory setup by tying into the axle via a u-bolt setup integrated into the design. The new track bar location mimics the drag link angle perfectly and eliminates bump steer.

In order to accommodate these 2 new components, 3 tall front aluminum bump stop extensions necessary to provide the proper clearance at full bump. If the current suspension setup on the JK being upgraded does not have 3 extensions, the new JKS1130 can be purchased separately to ensure proper clearance at full bump. This new 3 extension kit is another component of the JSPEC Advanced Geometry Upgrade kit. The 1 piece, fully machine aluminum extensions bolt directly to the lower front coil seats with the provided hardware. While designed to work with these JK-specific kits, the JKS1130 3 bump stop extensions can be used on the front of TJ (TJ rear too), XJ, MJ, and ZJ applications as well as many custom applications.

While originally designed to give JK customers an off-the-shelf bolt on lanyard kit to work with the JKS2034 and JKS2030 disconnects, this kit can work with just about any manufacturers disconnect setups.

Adjustable Rear Trackbar

The trackbar controls lateral movement of the axle housing. It is attached to the chassis and axle on opposite sides of the vehicle with flexible mounting points to accommodate suspension travel. Unfortunately, the fixed length of the OE trackbar won't accommodate ride height adjustments. Changing the distance between mounting points forces the axle housing out of alignment with the rest of the vehicle. Unless corrected, this condition will place unnecessary stress on related suspension and steering components, create alignment problems, and prevent proper suspension & swaybar disconnect operation.

Advanced Geometry Upgrade Kit

This new upgrade kit features both a new drag link flip system and the popular JKS6200 control arm relocation bracket system all in one kit. This upgrade kit is designed to work with JK lift systems of 2.5-5 of lift.

The Control Arm Brackets:
Reduced control arm angles allow the front suspension to more naturally roll over bumps and grooves in the road. Forces are better directed into the coil springs and shocks where they can be absorbed and controlled versus into the control arms and frame where they are felt more and create a less controlled handling feel (rough ride).
Corrects caster for 2-4.5 of lift. The new upper and lower control arm mounting holes are precisely positioned to provide the correct caster at the listed lift heights. The upper control arm mount provides two hole positions for proper caster settings through the full lift height range. The proper mounting locations for the installed lift heights are outlined in the installation instructions.
Improves the front drive shaft CV joint operating angles through full wheel travel. On 2012-2014 JK models, the new geometry increases clearance between the front driveshaft and exhaust at full suspension droop.
Brackets are made from heavy-duty 7GA steel and are fully boxed and welded for superior strength when compared to bolt together 2-piece designs. The brackets install inside the factory upper and lower control arm mounts with the factory hardware. The heavy boxed construction, fully gusseted lower mount and welded crush sleeves give you extra confidence both on and off road.
The Control Arm Correction Brackets can be used with JKS adjustable control arms for the ultimate on and off road performance.

This upgrade kit can be used with several different lift systems setups. There are a few items that are required for proper fit and function of this kit in combination with other systems.
Must use factory pitman arm
Cannot be combined with other track bar relocation systems, although most popular adjustable track bars are ok.
Must maintain a minimum of 3 worth of bump stop extension over factory.
This system will work with either the 2.5 or 3.5 JSpec systems. The 2 JSpec front bump stops will need to be replaced with the 3 provided in the Upgrade Kit.

JKS Compact Jam Nut Wrench

The 1699 Step Drill Bit will drill holes from 316 to 78 in 116 increments. These bits a self-piloting so all you need is a center punch to locate your hole. The step bit is made from hardened high-speed steel with a titanium nitride coating for long-lasting use. The heavy-duty 38 shank is much strong the hex drive styles you find a discount tool stores. The dual-flute design provide fast, smooth cutting. One 1699 Step Bit replaces 12 different sized standard bits. These bits are a great addition to your trail tool bag as a multi-purpose bit for trail repairs. They are also handy to have in the shop for use when installing your favorite JSpec or JKS lift systems and accessories. Works well as a deburring tool too.

One unique application where we have found ourselves using these bits is to drill out JK knuckle steering arms. Instead of sourcing an expensive 78 bit to drill out the steering arm for our JSpec drag link flip installation, we use these step bits. The step bit wont bind against the factory tapered hole and doesnt require multiple bit changes to progressively enlarge the hole. The stepped design also makes it very easy to keep the bit square to the hole as well as not allow it to wander and risk an ob-round hole.

The 1699 Step Drill Bit ships in a clear plastic container that can be reused for storage when not in use.
